29:30 if you're having PC issues and even replaced the PC completely, maybe have your outlets and power checked to make sure that you don't have 'dirty' power coming into the PC. You can get power line conditioners and stuff that'll sort the voltage irregularities if you do have that going on.

@@majrbacon1293 That's effectively what I'm suggesting, yes, but not all surge protectors/battery backups do line conditioning. He'd have to look for one with that specifically. And that's only if that is the actual issue, but from Fruit's description of the issue, it definitely sounds like that or a bad wall socket.

THIS has been one of the most entertaining vids I've seen. Not just of this series, in the "Let's Play" genre. You honestly, and full-heartedly seemed to be enjoying yourself (omitting the PC issues, which may likely be heat or memory related considering the step you've taken), and the explanation or rationalization of choices better allows for immersion.

Angry balloon boy probably scales off of every instance of damage. It may be that it does scale off of the sandstorm but the sandstorm doesn’t do enough damage per instance to add any damage to angry balloon bot. It could be programmed to hit with instances of 9 and increase the amount of instances over time. Or it could just not scale off of the storm.

It does scale, it's just 10%. So each instance of 1 damage, up to 4, does nothing.

@@Hellyardsown Yeah but it didn't scale even from higher damage storm, which you can see at 34:40... it must be some kind of bug that it doesn't see storm damage as damage... or they need to change wording to "% of shield lost to enemy damage"

@LordMarvel if you look, it does scale up; but you're right, it definitely isn't scaling at the rate of damage. It must not check at the same frequency that damage can occur.

@@LordMarvelthey most likely don’t recognize instances of damage on a fractional level. So the entire time the storm is ticking at 1dmg it’s not going to trigger. Once the storm is rolling the board is moving in slow motion more often than not and the buff most likely gets lost in the code. Similar to how items do not scale lower than 1 seconds on their cooldowns regardless of what you use to attempt it.

Multiple PCs with multiple system restores with full PC crashes.... Have you checked the power circuit you have the system plugged into? Maybe you recently plugged something into the same circuit in another room that is restricting how much your gaming PC is able to draw from the wall? It could be that your GPU or CPU are demanding more power but your power supply isn't able to pull it. If so, might be resolved by plugging in a uninterrupted power supply (UPS - battery backup) in between the wall and the PC. You'd know something is going on when the UPS chirps everytime it has to supply some power that is not coming from the wall plug-in. Typing this about 35 minutes in when you've crashed 2-3 times - might be the video finishes uneventfully, ha

I think the reason sandstorm didnt scale angry balloon bot is cause sandstorm just does like 1-5 damage extremely quickly so each of those instances it only gained damage based on 10% of each tick

Very off topic, but if you've tried a bunch of stuff for your PC issues, have you looked into/gotten a UPS for it? Maybe getting dedicated power for it could improve stability, pretty unlikely but another thing to check out instead of trying another new PC just to have same issues.

Its sad Mr Fruit isnt seeing the value in angry balloon bot yet, its hasted while barbed wire cant be by the core and has faster cooldown so often hits 2 to 3 times in comparison to the 1 hit from barbed... Mostly though, angry bot boi really shines when your enemy is aggresive and doing serious damage that your shield is meaningfully tested and you didnt come across many seriously challenging builds in that regard which made fights slower and more lackluster... hes basically wobbufet

I think you only gained 1 damage on the angry balloon because the storm starts out only doing 1 damage per tick. 10% of 1 is 0.1, which is negligible. It’s only as the storm ramps up and does more damage that angry balloon will gain more damage. Will need to test to confirm but that’s my assumption

Exactly this. The Sandstorms start off with instances of 1 damage. Angry Balloon Bot didn't start accumulating until the sandstorm hit 14/sec.

IMO Balloon Bot is actually a better late game item. Low cooldown, plus one big hit to your shields and he can be doing a thousand damage or more. The problem is poison builds are so common right now and totally avoid shield damage...

I guess on Day 2 you could have replaced the Core with Cloak.Angry Balloon is buffed but should still increase the Shield for the Shield Balloon if the Tooltip on the Shield Balloon is correct.

The vent viewer is always so scary 😱 I did look at it and was getting dwm error. Benchmarked my GPU and crashed it within 10 seconds so DDU’d my drivers, reinstalled and ran some new benchmarks and so far nothing. Although I have a feeling the issue will return soon like it did before and may be due to physical hardware issue

I would highly recommend an AMD CPU, rather than 13th/14th gen Intel. I would love to help out (local) if you ever need anything. Cheers sir!
