I get so emotional. I saw him in concert in 1977 and it was the best ever best voice ever ever. I can't get Uber itever glad I got to see them live. And what gets me in this video is when his real girlfriend Sherri at the time walks in and then they're sitting on the steps. And he's just looking into her eyes and touches her softly. He's just so romantic and it's just. He is a good guy and he means every single word with his heart

Steve Perry, master of that belly rubbing music. Take me back in time Steve.... Oh man, young and in love when this hit... I firmly believe he is 1 of the best, if not the best live singer ever. What notes he hits on his albums, he hits live. He was captivating to watch.

The best thing to do is watch this video non-stop, like they filmed it. No interruptions, and the lyrics drive the point in, just like Steve’s performance, alone on a soundstage with no audience or other distraction, and the one long video take, zooming in on Steve .🧡
