in China it is very common for single mothers to give up children. illegitimate children have no access to school, healthcare, benefits, etc. single mothers have to pay for everything

You have not got a clue as to the failed marriage. This woman tortured herself EveryDay of her life worrying about her child, trying to find her, mourned the so called death of her daughter plus dealing with a lying bitch of a mother who enjoyed seeing her daughters suffering because she was ashamed her daughter was pregnant. I know , because I was in a similar situation. I was lucky I found my daughter after 40 years and we have a loving relationship. My marriage failed after 38 years, because all I thought about was my daughter. I really thought that no other man would want me if they found out. He held it over me the entire time..I had four other children and I do love them, but that aching hole was never filled.The day I walked out of my marriage was on my daughters birthday, I didnt realise it till later. I spent every thing I had to find her...... I have been single for 15 years now . My husband wanted to marry me but not have my daughter. My parents did not support me at all. I had nowhere to go, there was no single mothers pensions in 1971....... the medical files were sealed by the government for 35 years, so please don't judge harshly as everyone has a story. I know this soap opera is only a story but there are millions of women just like me that had to give up their babies That didnt want to. Most unwed mothers were told their babies died, twins were separated. It was cruel society then .......
