Painting ornaments is unquestionably a relaxing activity. I now have some ideas swimming through my mind. I think I want to paint some ornaments. I love how creative you were with all of your ornaments. I especially enjoyed the peacefulness of the house surrounded by trees. I also loved the ornaments covered with cats. Aside from my daughter, nothing brings more joy than watching my two fur babies run around the house and play with each other. I have a cat and small dog who get along lovely. Maybe, I'll dedicate an ornament to them

LOVE how the cards have cute backs too!! ( I set Bday & Holiday cards so that my family can see them when they sit at the dining table but you can see the back sometimes & they’re not usually cute like Mira’s are. 😊)

Hi Mira, I would have watched you sooner, but I was Drawing Polar Bear Heads In my Sketchbook & after I put it a sleeping polar bear head onto a Piece of Felt & Also a Sleeping White Tiger. They Will become FELT BADGES , I'm not to sure if I will Turn them into Christmas Decorations Yet. I so enjoyed your Christmas Baubles & I so loved your Big Tick Cut Wooden ones, I'd have a go myself. Oh I'm waiting also for my New Paint Brush Santa's to be dried, but it's taken for ever to do so, even my quick 20 minute Landscape is still to wet & it's been sat since 2.30 p.m. Drying. I dare not to touch them or I sink the paint, I have had to purchase 2 new tubes of white Acrylic Paint. I have been tempted to used my late Mother Boots Hair Dryer, that looks like a Heat Gun , but it doesn't get to hot to try & speed up the Drying. Though I'm far too Chicken to try it & spoil my hard work. Thank you MIRA loved All the Ornaments but I'm not keen on cats, but it turned out okay. 🌻🌻🍄🍄🍁🍁👍👍

I have also had the wood slices crack. I did clear gesso the side I was painting, but someone said I should have also sealed the other side. I don't know if that will help you in the future, but I would try it, if you haven't. It's so devastating when they crack, unless you're going for that real rustic look.

Agreed. I love the cracking if I want it to look rustic, but sometimes I’m just not in the mood. My friend sealed hers with resin afterward and it helped a lot! I think they were already cracked but it prevented more cracking and kind of modernized it a bit.
