I’ve been growing my hair for over two years with the intent of donating it to charity when it gets long enough. In Budapest I decided its time to get the deed done. So I went to Geri’s Barber shop in the old town area. I read some reviews saying he spoke english. That is important to me because if a barber doesn’t know what you want then it could end in tragedy.
I made this video and accompanying blog post to help anyone else interested in donating their hair to charity. I am donating my hair to Locks of Love. Before you freak out do your research. There have been rumours going around that they are not a good charity. However the do good work, and even a charity has to keep its doors open. So they do sell hair they can’t use to other organizations who can use it.
