I know it's been a while but I'd love to know if you're still doing No Poo and if your hair routine has changed at all since this last video. Thank you for the info!

Hi, even after cut your hair looks so good and healthy. Can you make an update for 2023 if you are still on no shampoo, I believe that’s a 10 years for you if you are still doing it. Regards

Hi Victoria! I couldn't believe it when I saw the title of the first video you did about not using shampoo. I didn't know what that meant so you can imagine what I originally thought it meant. After watching the video, I knew otherwise. Anyway, I'm really interested in starting a hair care routine that uses absolutely no shampoo or conditioner. Right now, I just use shampoo and conditioner. I don't use any other products. What do I do during the first month? Do I wash my hair at all or just once a week like you were doing? My hair is about 24 inches long. I love my hair and want to take really good care of it. I know once I get started, I don't want to stop. I'll just have to get the baking soda and apple cider vinegar routines in place. Also, I've seen it's okay to just use water to wash hair unless your scalp/hair is too dry or itchy. I can probably follow your routine to start with and then make my own customization. I just want a little advice on what to do in the first month.

Hi Rachel! Thanks for commenting! Did you watch my first video on this subject? That one will help a lot with learning what to expect your first month or so. For the first month as your scalp acclimates to the no shampoo or conditioner, I wouldnt wash it any more than 3 times a week, but slowly back off of that over the course of the month. It will feel gross for a while, but stick with it because once you scalp knows how much natural oil to produce, it will get a lot better and not be so greasy. Slowly ease out of washing it so frequently till you are to once ever five to seven days by the end of that first or second month. Does that make sense?

Hi! Yes, I' ve watched all of the videos. I actually wash my hair only three times a week so that won't be too hard to do. I suppose I would be closer to two washes near the middle of the month and then only 5 to 7 times a week. Should I use baking soda or the apple cider vinegar every time I wash my hair? Once I get into a routine of washing my hair every 5 to 7 days, would I do it at those times? For the first month, would I not need to do this or would I do it more? I washed my hair on Saturday just using the water while massaging my scalp. Thank you so much for helping me with this!
