I can completely relate!!! Being an filipino American and living in a place filled with predominantly Caucasian people I was always influenced to have paper straight hair. I really appreciate your optimism with your new cut. I just chopped over 20 inches of hair and I've been feeling naked and sad. I've been looking for videos of people happy with their short hair to try and get rid of all the KZbin recommended videos with long hair ( there's a lot of them on my feed because of years with long hair and watching those videos).
