Literally did this to mine yesterday. Had a flowmaster to go on, but cranked it with muffler/resonator delete and loved the sound.

My 2010 just rusted out after the cat, and i think it sounds like it should. I also followed it the other day and feel like it's louder in the cab than it is outside. I'm still throwing on the MBRP AL just to pass inspection in NY.

that’s because it’s dumping the exhaust right under you. do a full exhaust all the way to the back and it should be less of a headache

Watched your video, unbolted mine from the flange. 2015 suburban. I don’t wanna like it. I told myself when I bought this truck I wouldn’t do these kinda things but here I am, no muffler, 3” lift, no steps and 35s, like a pig in slop.

I have a 08 avalanche LTZ 5.3L 4x4 stock height for now with DOD displacement on demand where it puts it in V4 mode it sounds horrible in drive when your coasting the exhaust has a fluttering sound. so I just drive it in 3rd it stays in V8 mode. muffler deleted sounds amazing my truck sounds like your Suburban. Eventually I will do a DOD delete that involves changing the cam ,valley cover ,lifters etc..

It's also FlexFuel has AFM active fuel management so I can put E85 in it, but we don't have access to it in my area. Id have to cross the buffalo border, but would not cross to just get gas Lol. Closest to E85 would be 94 here.
