Charlie Hopkinson is a comedic impressionist, impersonator, voice guy, whatever you want to call it who specialises in voices from current television shows and films. His standup is a character act about a retired maths teacher, his standup set includes impressions of Sir David Attenborough, Robin Williams, Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Peaky Blinders, Tommy and Arthur Shelby and Gandalf from Lord of the Rings.
Always looking to update my roster I look to try out subscriber suggested impressions in the impressions challenge series before honing the best ones. Recently I have added Peaky Blinders and Marvel / Avengers characters to my arsenal!

I started learning impressions in 2012, at the age of 20. You can follow my full impressions journey in my new ‘How to do impressions’ tutorial series
After graduating from the University of Warwick in the summer 2013 he took 4 months out to concentrate on KZbin videos full time, including producing his most viewed video to date ‘Morgan Freeman and 40 other impressions’ with just over 12 million views. This foray into being a ‘full time KZbinr’ was cut short as he went travelling for 3 months before starting a 2 year teaching Graduate scheme with Charity ‘Teach First’.
While teaching he has performed in and narrated the 4 episode series ‘Lookalikes’ as Morgan Freeman. The show and the narration received a positive reception. The show aired on Channel 4 during the prime time slot of Friday 10pm for three weeks. It is now currently available on Netflix. Charlie also performed with other well known impressionists for an unaired pilot.
Charlie has worked for several prominent brands in relation to their products, including google and formula 1.
Since the summer of 2016 Charlie has once again dived into the world of KZbin, for the first time producing content on a weekly basis. He is also focusing on live performance; he has performed in live venues a total of 3 times to date.

@lukecodz in our time it's like 5 minutes, in movite time nah its like 20 minutes. The Gungans were captured and surrounded, Padme was taken to Gunray and with aggressive negotiations she discussed a new treaty, Obi Wan stared Maul down, fought him and was knocked into the pit, Anakin got stuck in the Confederate ship, then fixed his ship and blew up the Confederate ship and escaped, then the Gungans were freed due to it being destroyed. And THEN Obi Wan got up and went and talked to Qui Gon after he was already stabbed and laying on the ground this whole time. Sabine was stabbed and Ahsoka saved her in no time. But somehow, everyone is upset she survived? 😂

Seems like Disney/LucasFilm’s interpretation of Grand Admiral Thrawn was light years away from the actual character described within the Zahn novels, and far more like a hacky PMC version Thrawn devised from what a bunch of mid 20 something female writers at Disney/LucasFilm (“The Force is Female”). So writers with basically no real personal experience along with no actual life experience of any consequence, no personally gained wisdom through hardship, or true gained insight to impart upon said written character or characters were chosen to pen the trials and tribulations of some of the most cherished characters in modern fantasy simply because BlackRock said that they were good to go simply due to identity and nothing to do with talent. And yet Disney is currently facing it’s worst fiscal year in the history of the company. But I’m sure that this path will eventually change course for Disney to their very own ‘Treasure Island……..’ That being said, love your work Charlie! Honestly, you’re in my top 3 favorite channels on KZbin! Keep up the awesome hilarity!

Now that I think about...technically Anakin became a Jedi master when the last member of the jedi counsil died, being left as the last one and because technically never renounced the title. Is more like a legal vacuum but Annakin may be practically a master by default.
