Well it really disrespectful to compare to your own country food. I really hate it when my friend said like that as if all our culture are based from them🙂

But that’s the thing, you can only go on based upon the food you know. It’s natural. There’s definitely parallels between Thai and Korean, but it can be very different. We don’t know what food Baekho is necessarily used to aside from Korean food and honestly, the selection of Thai food in Korea is limited. Let the man live

@@jamesheng1878exactly plus it encourages Koreans to try Thai food or come to Thailand to eat Thai food! Korean Vlogs in BKK tend to say Koreans will this dish if they come here to eat it!!!

i don't think the comparison is meant in that way. more like for others (in this case Koreans) to be able to better imagine the taste based on what they know. not impying that Thai dishes are based off Korean's.

The premise of this program is to introduce various places to viewers so the comparisons are meant to help viewers (specifically Korean viewers) relate to the taste. Example: You can't just say that a food is "spicy" because Thais' definition of spicy is different from that of other countries. What is deemed "mild spicy" by Thai standards could be burning hot and spicy for others.
