Theoretically he talks to us. Or rather "for us" but in games it's basically always weird for immersion when the character speaks out loud. It even can be annoying when you are supposed to be the character

This game would drive me nuts. Nothing like driving xxx number of yards or meters (depending on your unit of measurement) and having something randomly break and need to fix it over and over again. It's more about fixing your truck than actively tackling the difficulty of the terrain from driving offroad from point A to point B. Personally, from what I have viewed from this game prologue and other offroad driving simulation games is that honestly IMO the only one so far that looks good is Expeditions. Except for Across the Wilds, Offroad Delivery Service, Forester Simulator haven't seen much more on those, but I have my eyes open.
