Brooke is such a beautiful young lady. I love how she recognises her children as blessings. The most wonderful blessings our father in heaven gives to us. Hard work for sure but the sweetest of spirits. I wish I were on that plane overhead. I’d love to get over there again.

I’m glad you were there for her to deliver the baby!! Family friend had her 3rd baby by herself in the hallway!! Her husband was dropping off the kids at grandmas and she had the baby before he came back! She said that was the scariest moment in her life being all alone!

An amazing story. My brother, many years ago, delivered his daughter on their living room floor in similar circumstances. He did an amazing job and his family is so proud of him. You never know what you are capable of, until you are called upon to do it. We all have inner strength hiding in there somewhere.

It is an amazing and scary experience all together. I delivered my granddaughter 7 yrs ago. I actually had to give her a breath. Fast forward 3 years and I had her and her sister. Two years after that I adopted them. God is so faithful!

I delivered my last grandson and by the time the midwifes arrived it was all over. We ended up with 3 midwifes and an ambulance. Best thing i ever did. He's 17 now.

Hi Bonell Family.......Your daughters birth story sounds like mine. I had a doctors appointment that day. Went to the dr and she said yeah you are in labor but very early stages. I just went back home and did some cleaning, my mom had arrived a few days before to help out. I had a 22 month old she was helping out with. I decided to go to bed and I woke up all of a sudden with a big contraction. My mom who is a nurse said you all might want to get to hospital. I ask her did she know how to check for dilation and she said no. So I am rushing around, my hubby was getting the car, my friend was going with. So my hubby was going fast down the road. Yeah we made it to the hospital, but I didn't walk in. Contractions coming to fast. They got a wheel chair and I was at the admitting desk when I told my friend I feel pressure. She lifted up my skirt and my daughters head was out and she pulled her the rest of the way out. The admitting lady jumped over my friend to get some help. A nurse came down and said what's all the ruckus about? Oh my!!!! Well they got me up stairs and by the time I got to my room, what had happened was all over the maternity floor.....My baby is now 39 and we love telling her story all the time. Sorry its so long. What a blessing to have 3 under 3! I have 2 under 2 (My son was born 1 day before his sister's first birthday) It is a busy season, but we are blessed! I chose to have my Son at home, with only my Mother In law attending. It was a wonderful and relaxing event. That is how I hope to have all my births from now on! I have caught 2 of my grandkids the first my daughter and l were outside and she headed inside to the toilet half way she said she has having a strong contraction. I helped her inside but at the door she pushed and in one contraction the head was out then within seconds the baby was there. I rang the midwife and she came to deal with the placenta. The second one my daughter in law called for me to come to care for my grandson it took me 2 mins to get to her house she was lying on the floor, the baby was crowing a arrived in seconds. Ironically they lived across the road from the hospital.
