ATTENTION ANYONE WHO WAS DRAWN IN BY THE THUMBNAIL: There's a mod that adds a simple magic system based on materials, scrolls, and summoning circles, with that kind of epic scale and visuals for most of its spells. It's called Mahou Tsukai. Its most powerful spells are immensely cool looking, and even the weaker ones make you feel like an ancient sorcerer. I've never seen any footage of it but some of the spells the mod adds seem like they would be fucking awesome in a pvp scenario. EVERY SPELL has its purpose. That's the design philosophy. No spell is an upgrade to another, and no spell is overshadowed. And even those that are real situational look so cool you'll be tempted to use them even when you don't need to.

It's great, and many spells feel incredibly rewarding due to their immediate benefit and awesome visuals, as well as the effort and resources needed to set them up. All you need is to craft the spellbook, get a knife to draw blood, some cloth for scrolls, and a mortar and pestle to grind up gems and resources to cast the spells. Some allow for teleportation, others shoot giant beams from the sky or summon legendary weapons to your hand. The mana system is cool, every time you use up all your mana you gain one more mana, so you gain more power through experience. And you can store that power in channeling gems, to cast bigger spells you could never cast with your own pool. There are downright insane spells here, you can have a familiar and cast spells to see through its eyes, or spy on other players or pets through a scrying circle, or even cast an incredibly complex series of circles to entrap an entire village and poison them all at once with different effects based on the orientation of the spell. And it's all very visually pleasing and dramatic. I highly recommend it, my favorite Minecraft magic system by far.

Concept Idea for the book: what if you can do multiple chant but it base of your hot bar position? so if it hot bar one its for summon and the upper you go the stronger the chant Hot bar 1: hold right mouse button and then you can scroll to the upper hot bar, which the more upper your hot bar the stronger your mob summon, you need to defeat the mob first then you can use it to battle other people hot bar 2: Summon some that like floating sword that will launch for a target and the longer you hold the more the swords will appear and when you release it will launch, you can enchant the book so the swords will get stronger and maybe can make some fire too, 5 second of holds. hot bar 3: make floating arrows, different from sword, it can be block but it has auto aim, can be enchant too and same if you hold it will appear more, the limit is 10 second of hold hot bat 4: Make an anvil that will fall on every entity around 10-20 blocks (Depending on the enchanting) hot bar 5: Made you have telekinesis power which move 1 block /use(can be enchant to make more block got controlled) hot bar 6: It can give you potion effect, like the first hot bar you can control what effect you will get by scrolling your hot bar, you can enchant it to make the effect longer or better hot bar 6: It can stun every entity around you for 3 second, you can enchant it and make the stun longer hot bar 7: Can make fire ball which if hit an entity it will explode and create a circle of fire for 4 block radius, can be enchant up to 10 block hot bar 8: It will make a barrier around you to protect you from anything, the health of the barrier is unlimited but you cant use other chant nor tools and you need to hold it, if you release it it will disappear and you able to use other chant, if you enchant it you can get a exploding barrier when you release it Hot bar 9: is for the beam in the video of course it will have like a cooldown and if you want it can get a mana system, hope you read this and give an opinion but if you dont read this its fine, have fun!

Heya, have you thought about using Blockbench to create models for minecraft over blender? Blockbench supports multiple types of cube models for Bedrock, Java as well as low poly models. It also allows you to texture and animate your created models which then can be easily imported into minecraft. Love the videos as always keep up the great work!

These weapons are amazing which makes me want Minecraft to ad these in the game. But if you need an idea of what boss to make to show the mod developer i have 1 one in mind if you would like. It would be called the GorillaShroom. Which would be a big Gorilla with mushroom armor on its shoulders and knee's and a mushroom helmet. It would also wield a mushroom staff. I have also have an idea of how to summon it. Basically there would be a hidden entrance to a room with 3 pedestals, with one of them with a mushroom on it and the others need the other types of mushrooms to open the door. After getting the mushrooms and placing them a door opens and inside is the boss and once entering the door shuts and the battle starts. The first stage would have the GorillaShroom charging at you and if you are hit it would push you to the wall and throws you away. And after doing that he would shoot explosive mushrooms. Once you get it down to half health the staff breaks in half and he throws the staff away and starts doing punches and throws mushroom bombs. When its finally defeated it will drops the mushroom staff which will allow you to shoot explosive mushrooms and is a pretty good melee weapon.(sorry for this comment being soo long)

idea: Deathbloom: A powerful dagger that teleports onto enemies with a poisonus touch. there is a 3 second cooldown for the teleport and it becomes stronger every 5 seconds the enemy remains alive. Daniel wont see this but lets hope he does
