A bit of a show-and-tell video to help you see how simple it can be to design your perfect garden using some of the free trials of software available on the web. Step by step to make sure you get your plans right before you start the hard work.
The website I talk about: smallblueprinter.com/ is no longer offering their software in the same way as when I made this video
I have used a particular software I found, but this video is meant as an example of how easy it can be and doesn't in any way suggest you need to use this software. It's more to spark your creativity.
UPDATE: This video was published in March 2018 - the software discussed has changed since then or may no longer be available. I am not affiliated with the company and therefore cannot offer advice or support regarding their software.

my mom always says "what accent?" whenever she is asked about her accent, lol. She seriously doesn't think she has an accent. Thank your so much for this video! I have just bought a much smaller place after losing my husband of 35 years & I'm finding all of these decisions so overwhelming without my partner & best friend. This is an awesome tool!!!!!

we only have accents to other people's ears, and everyone else has an accent to our own ears LOL So sorry to hear about your loss, I can't imagine how hard that must be. I can only hope that maybe taking over some of the gardening might help keep your husband with you.

In the garden... I think gardening & art are a couple of really self healing activities, the only problem is that it is winter! Fortunately I live in CA so it is not like "real" winter even tho my frozen toes think it is. Thank you for your kindness, that is very healing too. My husband didn't care much for You Tube because some of the people can be just awful to each other but I really enjoy it as it keeps me in contact with people & a majority of them are some of the nicest people you will "meet"

ha ha ha I'm not going to say a word about winter :) KZbin is just like everywhere else, there are good people and bad people. Just try not to let the bad people get to you :)

Great video , well presented,unfortunately as already mentioned it's only free for a few days then you have to pay about £30 /38 dollars.which is a pity because I fancied getting it myself.

Yeah they have gone all proper since I made this video and now you get a trial period and then have to pay. I recon though you can get all your planning done during the trial and if you decide you like this kind of thing, you are armed with some experience to help you review the other tools out there. All learning is useful learning :)

The big red one Oh no! I was so excited about it too! I wanted to use it to help me journal my progress as well as planning it. I wonder if it is terribly expensive? I downloaded it but haven't gone to use it yet. I may have to get myself an extra Christmas gift, lol.

I've been looking into digital garden journaling over the past year and I still haven't found a replacement for my paper journal yet :) The good ones all seem to be paid for services.
