I'd say, even at 6'8 he wouldnt get it with the rim grab. BUT, if he had an NBA body at 6'8, with the whole 7'2 wingspan , I think it would be very realistic. Wembanyama makes it look real possible. He got 40" vert but I never seen it in a game...

I think it is impossible becuase even the best built and gifted athletic player would end up beeing too tall and because of it, too heavy or the other way. When you see these dunks from behind the free throw line, it is just clear that only those who have perfect conditions, genes, height etc. can dunk from there. Beeing taller makes you too heavy and beeing short makes your reach bad. This is just endless circle imo.

I think height is what it would take, if you can get far enough all you need is to reach higher to dunk it, if somebody were to be tall enough to dunk off the slight bounce you get from the far jump he would probably be able to do it.

@Dylan-vm6ss off of a long jump dexton can jump farther bc flipping gives more momentum which is why hero can flip about 19.5 ft, dexton long jumped around 20 feet without flipping, they are both insanely athletic and both deserve their credit for their stunts
