I absolutely agree with you comment that all Kmarts are different. I live in Southern QLD and what products people rave about in the southern states we don’t see here for about a week . We also don’t get as much in the way of quantity. I have 3 Kmarts within a 25 km radius of where I live and when you check stock on line on a new product it’s not available at any of the stores , I’ve had stuff delivered from north of Brisbane because no Kmart south of Brisbane has that product available even though it’s new.

Good old Kmart Highpoint. I'm a Western Suburbs girl and as a teenager Highpoint was my shopping centre....fondly remember lots of trips to Kmart with my BF Jody......Ha we bought our white pin stripe trousers there and went off to see Grease wearing them....Those were the days :) Oh and a candle named after our Cat, Tangerine :D Thanks Deborah xo

Always enjoy seeing blue skies and warm sunny weather. Love the feeling of the warm sun on my skin. Kmart stores definitely have a different range and stock availability from store to store. I tend to find that the Kmart stores that are in a Westfield complex are much bigger and have a lot more stock than other Kmart stores. I have been told at my nearest Kmart store that they don't always stock everything that other Kmart stores stock and it can also take longer for them to get stock in and on the shelves compared to the bigger stores.

I completely agree-there’s nothing like the warmth of the sun on your skin! ☀️ And you’re spot on about the differences in Kmart stores. It’s interesting how the bigger stores, especially those in Westfield complexes, seem to have a wider range of stock and get new items in quicker. I notice that stores in NSW seem to get stock of new items way quicker than Victorian stores, I'm dying to get my hands on the new curler and none fo the stores in Victoria have them yet...I guess it’s all about the location! Those mesh drawers organiser. I have several but last years or early this year, similar ones but in clearance. So assume these ones are just as good or maybe better, smooth sliding too. Undersink bedroom wardrobe, kitchen, pantry too, etc

Beautiful kind words deb, Deborah etc. You making me feeling better after flu A. Still getting over it nearly 2 weeks later. I believe it was worse than when we got covid in july 2022. Highpoint today 17th august was so crazy, so busy we had to park far end top corner not far from the original mcdonalds near round about buses terminal. It was like it was boxing day sales 😂😅😊. Never seen so many cars, buses.

I recently went to Kmart in Wagga and it was huge compared to my local suburban Kmart in Sydney. I think in Sydney popular items sell quickly so there's new stuff but in other stores there seems more as it's staying on shelves longer (if that makes sense)

It's interesting how the selection can vary from store to store! I hope you still find some hidden gems in Eaton and Bunbury. I found when I visited a KHub in a regional store over the summer, they had better pricing (ie. their clearance items were heavily discounted and they had s bigger selection) is that the same near you? I am on the Fraser Coast of Queensland & my local Kmart (Hervey Bay) seems to have the more basic items, but if I want something more boujie or a different colour, I have to go to a more populated city; Bundaberg or a Brisbane Kmart store.

I love Highpoint. It's got a great range of everything although I do miss having Target there. I think it should've stayed rather than replacing it with Kmart

Highpoint really does have a fantastic range, doesn’t it? I totally get what you mean about Target, it has a different selection of clothing to choose from, more variety at different price points, it’s a shame they swapped it out for Kmart. Still, there’s something for everyone, but I agree, Target would’ve been nice to keep! 😊😚😚

The stock in our KMart, regional Gippsland is not as comprehensive as the Melbourne stores by the looks of it. The basic line is the same but there seems to be a few extras in the city. Everything is online though so I guess we can order that way.

Luckily, online shopping helps us all stay in the loop with the latest finds.Though even there different states get different stock I've noticed... If I accidentally have Sydney set as the default location I seem to be able to order online items that are not yet available in Melbourne but then they won't ship to me when I add my postcode 🙄 Happy shopping! 😊😚😚

I’m so excited to see you visiting my area of Melbourne, I love going to Highpoint. I hope you didn’t get nabbed by the speed camera there. It’s one of the biggest revenue raising camera’s in Melbourne because it’s at the bottom of the hill on the street you came in from, so it gets cars entering AND leaving Highpoint 😅

Ahh you must be coming from the same side of town as I do, when i was growing up in the western suburbs I used to come into HP from the MAC side where the old Target used to be, do you remember how separate HP was with Myer in one building and Target in the other? Just about to watch 😊 but I have a strange question. Did you go to school with a lot of Debbies/Deborahs? I went to a small school and I'd say a quarter of the girls in my grade were Debbie/Deborah (I'm Deborah) but despite this I've only worked with 3 in my 40 years of work life. Where have they all gone? It was the 3rd most popular girls name when I was born.
