I DID IT! Run Disney Marathon Weekend 10K Full Experience | Camping In My Rivian & Running The Race!

In today's vlog I run my first ever RunDisney Race! This is my full experience running the 10K during the RunDusney Marathon Weekend! We started with my night of camping in my car at Disney Fort Wilderness so I could be closer to the race since I had to get up at 3am to be there! Then we head to EPCOT for the race. It was so much fun! There were characters, live music and live entertainment all throughout the course. And then I finished the race!! Thank you for being there with me throughout the whole thing! Seeing you and Nick run together made me realize what I was missing during my first Disney 10K last year, a running buddy! I ran by myself the whole time and it was kinda meh, quite the difference from running the 5K with my mom the previous morning. So that'll be my new goal for my next set of races: find a fun running buddy! Congrats on your finish! 😁

Congratulations Tim! I did the Princess Half Marathon in 2010 and it was a wonderful experience. Yes you can do more Disney races, but if you go up to the Half or the Full make sure you have more miles under your belt! I’ve done about 15 marathons and too many Half marathons to count and training is the key to not hitting the wall and getting the most enjoyment out of the race and most importantly preventing injuries! So glad that this race was a good experience for you! Looking forward to seeing more!

I did Dopey in 2023 and it was the best experience ever! I got to ride Everest during my marathon, and no marathon will ever be as cool! I would 100% do it again. The RunDisney events are like none other and I would like to see you do more events in the future!

Great job! I did a 5k, 10k and half marathon in Disneyland Paris in 2019. Did not think i was able to complete all three (the whole challenge), but i did. That was such a great feeling. Great job, it’s addicting! 🏆The sunrise was awesome! I’ve only done the 5K before and what’s cool about that it’s still dark when you’re done 🌚, and I drove to Magic Kingdom straight after to catch the sunrise and then rope drop! YAY!! 🎉 I did the Dopey Challenge last year in 2023 and it was the best experience I’ve ever had running! Run Disney knows how to make the races amazing and memorable. I had never run more than 13 miles before I did the Dopey and I still made it! Even starting in the last corral, because it’s so fun. The people you meet running are amazing as well! Everyone encourages each other and the pacers are the best!! SO glad you did it and CONGRATULATIONS!! 🏅 That medal was well earned! You’re going to be addicted now, by the way. 😁 I’m in training now to run again for the 2025 Dopey! And I said I was only going to do it once.
