Yeah, this is my favorite San Myshuno lot. I’ve used it for clubs, industrial-style homes, a vet clinic, a big brownstone apartment building, a mall, townhouses, and a lot of other things. It’s a beautiful and convenient location.

I’ve always turned that lot into a restaurant, cafe, or bar because I always found it odd too that there was a random house in the middle of the city too. Alternatively you used the lot well with a rental leaning into the old factory lore.

I would love to see the really long tour of everything! Honestly you and James are my safe creators so i always have both of your videos on repeat, and i always watch them in order up until 5 years ago then back again from the most recent. The long videos are definitely the best to watch on repeat! My favourite apartment is the darker one with the gaming bedroom because it reminds me of my younger brother.

I've known about the Old Salt House for ages. It's one of the very few ground-level normal Lots in San Myshuno. I have a somewhat popular (for a non-streamer) renovation of it on the Gallery myself. It's called Neo-Tokyo House by iamsweetmystery1. It's a Japanese-inspired home with a substantial garden full of Perfect plants, lots of green energy production, and a couple of those bicycles you can only get from dumpster diving. I posted that build in March of last year.

I love that lot, two generations of my NSB lived there. I feel like that lot was meant to be a restaurant. If you look in the items for City Living there are a ton of signs for restaurants and cafes- they wanted us to put a business there.

I actually ended my renovation for this lot like week ago? And it’s so fun to watch different ideas on the same lot. In mine I tried to build only with base game, city living and for rent - to keep number of items low - because it went HUGE, like something between NY and Polish old tenement, renovated for rent in IKEA style and it’s SO POLISH and I love it It came out as 19 apartments building, so noone probably gonna play it but it was so fun

The two properties on that side, I do not use as residential.. I got the Iconic mod modeling agency next to the old salt house and the Old salt house.. well, its a club.. but the apartments across the way, are all residential apartments.. the only thing is when you travel to that area via a venue event, it has all sims pop out at what was the Karoke place next door.. I would probably be better off trading the two, putting the Iconic Modeling agency where the old salt house is and then moving the club.. that way when one goes to an event, they will have the club open to them to also visit..

LOL i thought this was going to be one of those "I know this lot exists but I forget about it because I don't build there" moments because at this point how can anyone not know all the residential lots; like the cat lady house in Brindleton Bay, I never use it and forget it exists. Then I realize 1 minute into the video that I literally have never seen this lot, never visited it and never had sims invite me to it. I never look at that corner because I assume it's business lots and I assume San Myshuno is only apartments in high rises. Now I want to build here lol
