How are you only finding this out now? Honestly it's a pretty great beginner daw for kids. I started out with garage band to see if I liked it (producing) before switching to Ableton

Wholesome. Although, I still use Ableton , a more sophisticated and professional digital studio software (DAW), on Windows, since that has a pretty high CPU and RAM requirement when things get complex.

Just switched from Ableton on PC to Ableton on Mac and found it was way better on Mac. I had a really decent gaming laptop and desktop and macs have better built in soundcards for on the go production and the CPU is never a problem.
