Wanna know what's more heartbreaking , all the crap/stuff they've been through happened in ONE year . Izuku barely had OFA for a year and was forced to carry this generational burden and now they all wanna help even just a bit . Shows how close this whole class has become after everything they've been through and still willing to shoulder more . True friendship goals here , IDC what anyone says this is the "power of friendship " cliche done right.

I like them catching up to Deku parallels how Deku tried to save bakugo in kamino. From the combination of quirks to propel them forwards, Shoto making the ice ramp to jump up, and instead of Bakugo being the one to reach out to Deku, he had Iida reach his hand out, just like how Deku had Kirishima reach his hand out instead.

Your review at the end like- GEEZ my heart BROKE. The way you always understand what ur watching and how u feel for these characters is always what I admire about ur reactions to MHA. Especially this one! I watched the entire review and wow, you were saying all of exactly what I was thinking haha Poor Deku was already ready to walk away in an instant that people didn’t want him there. And yeah I remember when people hated him way more than he did now because he cried all the time. Which- ok. Sure. To each their own. But Deku’s my favourite character in the entire show and him crying and being comfortable enough to show his emotion around others is admirable. He wasn’t even like- annoying crying. Sure it was slightly comedic when it needed to be but overall it really is just him wearing his heart on his sleeve. He cares about everyone so goddamn much and it’s one of the many things I love about ‘em

You cried like I did on this episode 😭😭 they love Izuku so much and they're right! Bakugo being up front about his discrimination being the source of his hatred was 🤯 and like, his growth. And I like that you rewound it back because someone mentioned once that Bakugo was there to witness Endeavor's apology to Natsuo and probably learned from that. I mean, the writer probably had them parallel on purpose but I like that thought is that Endeavor's genuine apology showed Bakugo what to say You had me in my feels all over again with that apology 😭 Izuku blamed himself for everything and he needed to hear he was not the problem. This was a great reaction!!

when the argument of why Deku chose to operate in solitude versus the villains operating in multitude comes up, the clear difference between Shigaraki/All for One and Deku is made clear: the villains can afford to lose people. the villains don't care if they lose their comrades for as long as they can accomplish their goals, Deku can't bear to lose any of his mentors, friends and love ones. in this episode it was made clear when he said "All for One will take you away from me" so it's not really about being a hero that made him go solo, but the fear that he will lose the people he hold most dear in this fight

Fun fact: The next episode name is "未成年の主張" with the rough translation to "The confession of young student" is a famous TV show in Japanese where japanese students stand up on the school roof and yell out their thoughts and worries to the whole school below. It fits for what Uraraka is going to say next episode.

For the first time, bakugo built Izuku up, rather than push him down. And it happend at the very moment Izuku needed to hear it.. Afo MAde deku feel alone, scared and like anyone who helped him was a target.. But his friends don't care. They want to share his burden because... look at him, he's broken, exhausted, wounded, he has pushed everyone away... Even all might - his idol - his mentor - all out of fear. His mother would be so heartbroken to see him this way.

Uraraka's point about protecting heroes reminds me of a story DC Comics did a few years ago. "Heroes in Crisis" by Tom King. The plot was... not exactly his best work in my opinion lol, but the overall idea interesting. Basically that you have all these heroes who... Have gone through all sorts of messed up stuff. Been badly hurt, in some cases killed and revived, drug issues, suffering from PTSD, etc. And most of them couldn't easily talk to a therapist cuz they've got secret identities or public images to maintain or just don't want people knowing their weaknesses. So people in the hero community tried to come up with a way for heroes to work on their trauma. Doesn't go well obviously lol, but it was an interesting point how even though a lot of them were suffering, a lot of those heroes didn't have anyone they could really turn to. To quote Superman from his own lil therapy session in the story: "God. This is embarrassing even talking about this stuff. I never talk about it like this. I can't. To be a... I guess a hero, you have to be perfect. This is not perfect..."

This like my 3rd comment , but I only just realized this during the review and it makes me love the scene so much more. The team maneuver they used to throw Iida at Midoriya is pretty similar to the one they used in season 3 when they were rescuing Bakugo. When they were trying to rescue Bakugo, Midoriya made sure to use Kirishima as a sort of "bait" cuz he knew Kirishima would be more effective than himself at getting Bakugo to comply. And now here, when they're trying to save Midoriya, Bakugo ends up throwing Iida because he was more effective than himself for that moment.

It's been a while since this show has really made me break down but the relationship between Bakugo and Midoriya over all these seasons has been a rollercoast--to see Bakugo show humility and kindness in the moment its needed most, showing his true colors of a genuine friend and brother was on a whole other level. I am SO thankful for moment because it's been pent up emotion for years!! Season 6.> Everything else

This is my all time favorite fight of MHA. This just dethroned All-Might’s Last Stand in Season 3 as my personal favorite episode. This episode is SHEER heartbreak. And the fact Izuku is more or less dying of that throughout makes this so much harder. Izuku has been nothing but selfless to the core throughout all of MHA. And what happens after each and every major event, he is not met with comfort or reassurance, but lectures and disregard. No matter how many lives he has saved. And that is at the core of all of this. Lack of faith. Izuku has powered through each and every arc in this show with no one believing in him. Crushed by the expectations of a 200 year conflict and even as he surpasses his ideals, he is STILL met with the same lack of faith throughout the story. From his teachers, from his classmates, from his mother, from the holders, from AFO (more to the point he’s so much less threatened by Izuku than All-Might.), his mentors, and more. He has spent this ENTIRE show making sacrifice after sacrifice. Slowly coming to a single devastating conclusion. Deku is OFA. But what else is there? And that is where this fight goes from sad to heartbreaking. This fight is Izuku trying to prove over and over again he can do this. And Class 1-A now sees the burden on his shoulders. And they all try to interpret it. What he means to the effort, how he might be playing into the enemies hands, and what he’s done for them. And they might have this gratitude. But they all slowly prove his point. This is a 19v1 battle and Izuku Midoriya proves what he has EASILY overcoming the most powerful classmates. I’ve made this analogy before and I feel it sticks VERY well. This is the equivalent of coming across Superman covered in blood and charred remains everywhere and him crying in a corner…and the general response is, “You know, Darkseid may have wanted this. You should be careful how you apply your heat vision. You know people are scared of you when you look like this. Are you living up to the ideals of your value as a hero? Here’s my thoughts on how I desire to be a hero. Sorry I bullied you in elementary school.” That is what Izuku hears throughout this. They are touching him and he’s crying because it means a lot that every little thing he’s done means so much to them. But…they’re kinda missing the point. Izuku Midoriya is TRASHED internally. His physical exhaustion DOES end this fight less any specific speech going through to him. Even Bakugo’s. But almost everything here is just another burden for him to bare. Nearly every idealistic point has crossed his mind, every paranoid faction of AFO being after him has crossed his mind. AFO can show up at ANY moment and COMPLETELY overpower Deku AND the other kids. And that paranoia is driving him forward. And none of the kids are going through the perspective Izuku Midoriya…is separate from his efforts. He is burdened of the god conflict. At the end of the day, no quirk other than OFA has charged for 200 years to tackle the man who has spent 200 years gathering powers. Izuku Midoriya is going to be the last holder of OFA. That remains unchanged. (If he isn’t, that basically means Deku failed.) The kids mean a LOT to him. And I won’t deny their efforts are the sweetest things. (Except Sato deciding to Blackmail Izuku for some reason. XD I just think YEAH, I need food coloring for Eri’s candy apples. I’ll just stop what I’m currently doing.) Then there’s Bakugo’s apology. I…love this moment for Bakugo. He has come such a long way in accepting Izuku and making himself a better person as a result. But…this is where a biting reality comes into play. When Bakugo says Izuku for the 1st time since he came up with the name Deku for him. When Bakugo calls Izuku the name Deku. It’s always been by his definition. There was no point where Bakugo started using his hero name definition, there is no point where he has been calling him a hero. He has ALWAYS been calling him useless. Which matches with how he’s supplied more doubt to Deku’s efforts than ANYONE. So that apology as HUGE as it is for Bakugo…it essentially means “I see you as a person.” This is why I’ve brought up that Bakugo has competed with OFA, NOT Izuku Midoriya. He respects All-Might’s decision to pass on OFA to Izuku and will now help All-Might by getting Izuku to this ideal they’ve both seen their whole lives. Izuku CLEARLY can tell how much care Bakugo put into those words…but…again, this…doesn’t save Izuku. How could it? And I’ll say this because it means a lot in of itself. Izuku Midoriya…doesn’t forgive him. Instead he takes the moment to apologize to THEM. Because even though they’ve missed the mark on his efforts, they are living to his ideals. But the lack of forgiveness stuck out to me WAY more. The fact he IMMEDIATELY turns to leave when met with the crowd proves he HADN’T been saved. Even with no energy at all, and each of his classmates doing EVERYTHING to stop him so he can finally rest and release some burden. He STILL turns to leave. Izuku Midoriya is still covered in the efforts of being the holder of OFA. Based on everything we’ve seen this season, AFO or AFS to these people COULD come at any moment and battle Deku. And Deku proved he’s in no shape to win, AND he almost won a 19v1 at his LOWEST. OFA will always be the underdog to AFO. That is a FACT. Even if they are now equal quirks due to OFA being the better stockpiler, AFO on a fundamental level is twice the quirk OFA is. (OFA is give, and AFO is give AND take.) And his release? Being in a place where everyone views him as their GREATEST THREAT to their safety. This place is probably the biggest burden he’s ever felt in his life. And that is SAYING SOMETHING. THIS place could cause his burdens to reach critical mass and he could ABSOLUTELY die of heartbreak. This is more a prison less a sanctuary. This episode is DEVASTATING. And one I’ll admire for its best efforts for as long as I live. But this is 2-ways. Just because the intentions are pure and executed for what needs to be said, it doesn’t mean that it’ll effect anything. Both ways.

I've seen you in many reaction mashup videos since season 3 or 4 and I know you've been reacting to this anime since its very beginning. That's why I don't think you're overreacting or exaggerating at all. I also love that aspect of Deku's personality despite many people claim that to be annoying or bothersome. They don't know shit about Deku. I've been watching him since the beginning and he's the most heroic character of all. I admire him and want to be like him.

Even after all that whole rescue mission and apology, Deku still not really feeling okay to stay at UA as he said. He was brought back physically, but he hasn't been fully *"saved"* yet mentally. Like Eri after Overhaul, before cultural festival. Deku was straight up ready to leave after all that work to get him back, but Uraraka had to grab his hand to keep him there. So in the end, she will try to complete this mission so that Deku is fully "saved".

I felt the same, part of knows he could do so much more with support, but the other part of me wanted him to get away and find a way of doing it on his own, if it was anyone else than AFO he'd gladly take their help, also they're all lucky, I'm sure compared to Deku they were all rested and ready to go for this confrontation and if Deku wasn't beat up, sore, tired, and hungry it'd be a whole different story.

My favorite part about what everyone said regarding what they admired about Midoriya or what he’s done for them had absolutely nothing to do with OFA. What I mean is that all of the qualities that Class 1A respected about Midoriya had nothing to do with his quirk. I especially liked how the moment that was most inspiring to Kirishima was in reference to when Midoriya was still quirkless. The reason I liked it so much is because Midoriya in middle school seemed to truly feel as worthless and insignificant as Bakugou and the others had told him he was growing up just because he had no powers. However now that Midoriya has powers the people that matter most to him are telling him that those powers are his least remarkable qualities. It might just be me, but I loved that Uraraka was the one to stop Midoriya from leaving again. They all fought hard to get him back, but it feels like Uraraka is the one that’s going to save Midoriya from himself and the public’s scrutiny. I sure hope she tells Midoriya her true feelings soon since she didn’t get to say everything she wanted to.

When the final episodes of season 3 aired (Bakugo vs Midoriya) I commented with people that it wasn't that big of a deal to me. I wasn't feeling Bakugo as a character yet. That changed last season, when he was doing the test against class B, and he said "You'll save me, and I save you'll" and got a complete and undeniable victory, that was really great for his character. But he needed one more thing to be complete. And it just happened here, apologies. Even tho Midoriya "easily" coped with the years of bullying and I'd even say abuse, that's something everyone who were hurt in some way need to hear, sincere apologies. It's was powerful, got me right in the feels. Such a great show.

"Why do I still live? What more do you want from me? I gave everything I had to you, to them. Look what they have made of our dream. This bloated, rotten carcass of an empire is driven not by reason and hope, but by fear, hate and ignorance. Better that we had all burned in the fire of Horus' ambition than lived to see this.
