Man seeing everyone’s comments makes me feel very lucky. I did 20 raids. Got a 98 on the third raid and ended the day with 4 shinies, best one being a two star with 15 attack.

Congratulations my brother. I got Shiny Shadow Mewtwo on the third Raid. The best part during this event for me was that I got my first Galarian Bird (Moltress) early Saturday morning before Shadow Mewtwo's appeared as a bonus legendary. Catching my Dark Moltress turned out to be my good luck charm for getting Shiny Shadow Mewtwo.

After driving round my area both days with myself and Atleast 2 others (I had my main and 2 alt accounts to help with numbers.) we covered 44 raids, my mates had good IV mewtwos, everyone got the shiny. My ivs were pretty bad overall with a 14att 93% being my best, however my shiny luck, insane! Main 6 shadow shiny, alt 1 - 6 shadow shiny, alt 2 - 4 shiny shadow so I was very happy overall

0 Shiny out of 37 raids. Walked 73 km here in central Berlin and i really hated it. I cant even count on 10 hands how many raid lobbies i missed out on because i was walking. The raids were always instant 20 and then no interest afterwards. so you had to be there when it spawned. I cant understand why there wasnt remote for these raids at all considering the doublding of the price and daily limit. This event did not promote anything else than stress and carbon emissions xD

I’m pretty sure the rate was 1/20! It’s not a guarantee that you’ll get 1 within 20 raids. I’ve done plenty of legendaries where it took more than 20 to get a shiny legendary, as many as over 100 when remote raids were more available. I luckily got 4 shiny shadow mewtwos within about 40 raids. It’s all RNG

I went out in Loughborough with some friends and I ended up getting a shiny one at 14/13/13 which I powered up to lvl 50 and gave it shadow ball, once the next frustration event comes around he will be my powerhouse for ML hahaha

They need to fix the purified gem mechanism. My app frequently crashed when I used it. It was ok when there's much remaining time on the raid because you could just restart the app and resumed the raid. But when not much time was left, you would not be able to encounter the raid boss to catch it since by the time you restarted your app, the boss wasn't around anymore

My weekend was appalling. The only locals that were even interested in doing roads went out on their own despite them agreeing to meet up with me after I had a long standing doctor's appointment on Saturday morning, as all of them got the shiny before the scheduled meet up time and had already quit. They weren't interested in high IVs at all. So I was forced to travel to the city where nearly everyone were finished for the day. So was picking off the dregs of the day. Sunday wasn't much better as ended up doing duos most of the day and the distribution of the 5* was bad. Ended up doing only 18 raids, no shiny all worse than those I'd already acquired from the super radars which I've already built. Only thing worth any mention from my weekend was a zero houndour.

I did 14 raids in 6h walking on Saturday. Very tiring. I got a 76% shiny on my third raid and my best regular was 82%. My friend that played with me did not get the shiny, and her best regular was 91%.

Definitely not 1/20. Probably around the rate you’ve concluded. Did around 35-ish raids, managed to finally get a shiny on the 33rd raid nearing the last hour/minutes of the event. For majority of the day I was definitely sure the shiny version didn’t exist.

@@sc_diemonds219 I'm sure some people get lucky with getting a shiny early on, but seems like majority of the players are consistent with the over 20+ raids per 1 shiny. I have seen few people with multiple shinies in little raid amounts but that's just all RNG. Unsure how POGO code their RNG, maybe some player has a higher chance of shiny encounters than another through id assignment, who knows. I've noticed people who spam new accounts seem to get "luckier" in raid shinies, especially early on. So... that's something fishy. If you got shiny on 4th, it was the best option to call it and not waste raid passes, unless you really wanted to try for multiple. As far as it seem, the shiny rate was bad for the mewtwo overall. But I mean, that's good imo, makes a pokemon more "rare"-ish to an extent. But gawd damn, they got me to spend money for raid passes lol, thought 20 passes was enough.

I did a total of 75 raids and no shiny. But I get a 96iv and a 93iv shadow mewtwo so I'm OK and I have one if purified will be my hundo mewtwo for the mega. I also feel to rate of these shadow raid were 1/64 or 1/100

I will still never understand them deciding to ban remote raids for the shadow Mewtwo weekend. Usually I am able to go out and raid in person but I’m stuck at home with an illness right now and I would have been happy to purchase 10 remote passes for 2 days. At least I could have participated. What’s the point of the cap if they’re just gonna turn them off for certain raids?

I got a hundo on my fifth raid and one that will be a hundo if purified for mega mewtu. In my raid group all of our players below level 30 got a shiny within the first ten raids and none of us above level 30 got a shiny, even after 30+ raids. So strange

I feel like Niantic lied to us about the shiny odds. They said it was 1/20 and yet I did 40 raids on 2 accounts with a total of 80 raids and only got 1 shiny...thats horrible.

shiny rng is tricky, it's not a case of do 20 raids and get a shiny. Seen tons of circumstances on raid events with people stretching over 50-70 raids for 1 shiny, while others get 5-10 shinies in as many raids it sucks and I know how you feel 🙏🏻
