I'm curious: How would he be able to put a softlock there? Opposed to mario maker 1 there are no overlayed pipes, so you always go to the pipe where you came from, right?

@@XHeadhunter66 Instead of the muncher and conveyor trap he could have put something like an on-off-block floor there, with an onoff-switch being activated the frame the other room is loaded. This would have the added bonus of looking super shady when entering the pipe in the correct way, and when you mess up (like carl) it sends you down a floor, into an antisoftlock

On the last door of the Get Trolled level there is actually one door hidden behind the POW blocks, so you can "randomly" to one of the 2 identical rooms, one with the top path leading to the end and one with the bottom path. Choosing wrong may lead to CP1 with an alternate path to the end. So good choice :)

As a programmer I appreciate the level name and description. Though I'm not sure what the binary in the screenshot is supposed to translate to. I just keep getting "U". You didn't fall for whatever the P-switch at the start was. Or at least it wasn't shown. Yeah, I had been looking at the right facing skewer at the first CP every time it was shown. That soft lock. It's before any CP so it's not so bad but it's a deliberate soft lock... That naked pipe. Inexcusable! The door opens outward, the muncher is blocking it. You *almost* scrolled the screen enough but instead went back for the mushroom first. I like how Carl didn't see the double "the" even though he knew it was there. Also, that clock in the corner of the play back when I know he only had 32 minutes was stressful. Every time he stopped to do something other than playing the level I was all "Carl, there's no time Carl!" Those comments at the end... Thanks for the video content Carl. Ryu does really well on troll levels because they're all tailored to the mainstream creator meta. Carl hesitates a lot and second guesses himself and he's always getting punished for it. Ryu basically runs through everything as fast as he can until he dies lol which surprisingly lets him bypass a ton of trolls. Which is kind of smart on his part. But if someone made a level tailored to ryu and gave the level a "speed limit," it would force him to slow down and get hit by trolls. An example of a speed limit is simply punishing him everytime he moves too quickly. falling invisible blacks that crush him for trying to jump out of an area too soon for example. Or something he does a lot when he's overwhelmed with trash is just holding right and jumping over as much as he can. So something that would trip him up is overwhelming him with visual data and then putting the correct path underneath everything and putting an anti-soft lock on the "upper deck." I would love to see a troll level designed with Ryu's play style in mind. It could even be a good level in general, not just trolly to Ryu. Carl would still hit every troll anyway lol so we're good on that end
