My buddy was diagnosed with tourettes syndrome and has a more pronounced face scrunch when he has tic-blinks. He didn't have verbal tourettes, but when he was in the flow state he would be blinking extra hard and frequently 😂 To be honest I think it gave him superpowers. It might be the same with Dan here! You could give my buddy any word to start with, and he could rap over any beat, and just go. Not like 4-10 minutes, he could go for an hour if he had access to water. His brain just worked differently. It was the same way with graffiti and skating. It was like he knew something a normal human wouldn't.

I'm almost 75 and when I watch you young guys skateboarding it reminds me of when my friends and I were about 14 years old and the sport just started. My first board was a 4"x4" around 13 or so inches long and I stole my sisters old steel skates, the kind that had an adjustment key to tighten the skate on your shoes! My first run was down my sidewalk with a left turn at the bottom of the hill, right where my moms Cadillac was parked! Man, I hit the bumper on that Caddy and it felt like I was doing 45 mph when I hit! I thought I broke every bone in my legs! After about a year of bruised everything, I gave it up until someone was making skateboards that looked like surfboards with clay wheels that had ballbearings, they were much better but the clay wheels wore out really fast. Everything was progressing very fast as far as reliability is concerned, and the rest is History!!

You would also put like 20-30% in casts😂😂😂 I tried skating when i was younger and god def created me to do anything that doesn't invlove balance esp skateboarding. I had to ride goofy and could land moves using my left foot but if i wanted to just ride around i had to position myself opposite riding than when doing tricks. So the problem was well mainly my balance and i could land tricks with one foot but then if i did it moving, after landing i would fall. Tried rolling off a 5ft ramp once and busted my shit so bad i had a foot long diameter of a bruise on my side i fell on. Had an easier time bmxing. But ya a lot of skaters are really good people and helpful af. Go out thier way to teach super young kids and put thier recording on hold.
