I pulled for Xiao. I was at 24 pity and as soon as I saw the maintenance was over I went on. I directly went to level the tree of dreams because I wanted for fates for Xiao. I was waiting for my friend to let me know when he was ready so he could log on and wish for be because he has only lost 50/50 once and it was on a single pull. But I had the biggest urge to pull so I just did one 10 pull just for the feeling to go away and it was good. I won the 50/50 and got Xiao. So I did another 70 pulls and I won 50/50 again and got his c1. I didn’t pull for his weapon because I already had it from before. I didn’t even do the whole ritual that I had planned for when I would pull for Xiao.

Alhaitham did NOT want to come home for me, I got him after like 150 pulls, at least the 4* on this banner were so... special... C69 Yun Jin and C420 Xinyan starglitters covered half the 2nd pity. To "make up" for it, I randomly got WGS at 16 pity on weapon banner, so I think I'm guaranteed a limited weapon now? I'll wait till there are 2 options I really want.

That is not how weapon banner works. Either you use the accumulated fate points (need 2 on the same banner to guarantee the weapon on the 3rd 5* weapon it gives you) this banner or it goes away. Pity tracks the same way but not fate points aka the Epitomized Invocation. What you do is up to you of course.

@@Ellilvia wha? If you don’t believe what I said, read the description of wishes by the banner. You have to chart a specific course on Epitomized Path before pulling the 5* to acquire Fate Points. Fate Points only track for that specific batch of options on the weapon banner. Next banner ie HuTao and Yelan’s weapons will reset any accumulated Fate Points. Pity tracks the same way so if 70 wishes made you not hit a 5* on the weapon banner, you have a very high chance of pulling one even if the 70 wishes were older accumulating pity. Of course until you get 2/2 misses on Epitomized Path, you have a 37.5% chance of weapon 1, a 37.5% chance of weapon 2, and a 25% chance of any of the 10 Wanderlust 5* weapons. Does that clarify how the banner works? For the poster I was clarifying a rather commonly seen but inaccurate assumption.
