You two made it entertaining. I was glued to listening to Pia explaining the game on Anna's stream and I messed up my sleep schedule. When the clock dropped, I went wait - what's going on, then wow this is new, then damn - I can't go to sleep just yet because I want to see how this kind of situation is resolved. Thank you for a fun and great game.

Anna played a perfect endgame, despite her time disadvantage. The fun part is that, until a6, the position was equal, if you run the engine at max depth. But the line was sooo freaky hard to find, especially with so little time. Kudos to Anna for her amazing performance🙏🏼

Don't care about the trolls. There was 1 sec on the clock and then EVERYTHING can happen because you must be SO fast. I saw the match, and yes, the situation was'n nice. But there wasn't even a ghost of cheating from your side. And obviously Anna shares this opinion. No further chess drama if there isn't anything!

Bok and Hammer were completely sure Anna will take the draw, and Hammer even went to bed 😂. It took a lot of nerve to go for Nc8 and the win! She really played the ending beautifully. It was lots of fun to watch!

Played weekly at a chess club back in the 80s, and countless chess clocks ended up on the floor or worse due to time scrambles. There was hardly any room on that table, so not surprised clock fell.

Thanks for explaining continuing to make the moves in a probably lost position. We live in a world playing blitz or bullet when it comes to real life, and probably calling it quits on stuff too early when there are real fighting chances. And sometimes early-quitting is really bad sportsmanship, unwilling to handle even the slightest disadvantage... So I liked the way you explained it.

Do people really think that was intentional? It was so obvious from seeing it that it was a mistake, and anyone who has watched your videos can see that cheating is not in your character. (Not to mention cheating ON CAMERA.) Don't listen to the haters. Keep playing and making great videos. 🙂

Big time, long time Anna fan here and a non-tribal, objective, mature thinker, and I honestly believe anybody who thinks you would even consider cheating, never mind actually doing it, should grow up very quickly, get a life, and go ... [I can't write the rest online]. I don't know why anybody would come up with that idea. Everybody can see what happened. You'd have to be a professional magician to have done all of that on purpose. Do any of the haters actually play chess?

I really enjoyed the entire tournament, Nemo, and I'm sorry you're getting heat over this. While watching this game I thought to myself, "Nemo is so visibly anxious she looks like a tea kettle about to blow steam." Stuff happens.

Nemo didn't make an illegal move to get an advantage, she just wanted to see if she could get away with it. She's a kleptochessiac. lol
@psychohist

I don't think Nemo intended to play the illegal move at all. She was about to flag so she sort of threw the piece in the general direction she wanted it to go to get her hand to the clock, and the piece ended up one square away from where she intended it to go.

TBH the world chess rule should be an automatic lose if u put a piece on the wrong square. PERIOD 🤷
@Vulcannon
@Vulcannon 3 ай бұрын
The chess piece should simply be eliminated on a wrong square and taken out of the game. People sometimes make mistakes in games in stressful situations. Other games are not completely canceled because of one wrong move. Banishing the chess piece is punishment enough.

I didn't notice initially, but your vibes / personality reminds me so much of Emiru when you are casual and worked up, lol. I didn't think you cheated, but I thought it didn't make sense that you didn't know you placed it on f5 and went g4. It makes more sense now that you intended for g4 and never made it there and misplaced it.

Anyone with half a brain should realize that was unintentional. Anna had a shorter distance to the clock, it being on her right side, while you had to reach across the table with one second left. That was a fun game from both of you chess sisters.

Why would she resign in that position? It's not like they see the eval-bar, and only Nemo has a passed pawn on the sixth rank at that point, and the "correct" bishop. But completely unrelated: How likely is it that somebody that talented is also so ridonculously attractive? I mean she's essentially a female Kwisatz Haderach.

IMO , you are better than Anna. You got a better strategical position with time advantage but did not play the most precise moves due to the rush to flag her. However, Anna has played more classical games the last few years, thus she was able to turn the boards going from middlegame to endgame.

Anna isn't going to be flagged, lol. She is seemingly most comfortable with 30 seconds on the clock. She lives and breathes it at this point,:) I have like 99% confidence that Anna will make a move, even a bad one, rather than losing on time.

I am a sub of both channels here. And I don't think Nemo cheated or even considered anything like that. But the inability to recognize her opponent's stronger game is really disappointing here. Not a good sportsmanship. You know how Anna praised Nemo endlessly in her video recap of this game.
