But I cared, I did something I learned English, I can even be considered not fluent, but I am going to the too of the mountain, and when I get there... I would already have climbed other mountains. I am planning to learn Latin and I am already learning Python programming, I became too lazy when I finished learning English. But I'll push me to go back to the top in my school. A couple of months ago I wasn’t doing good in school, I’m a runner and my teammates were all beating me, I had dreams of going D1, of going to the Olympics. I fell into a near depression knowing I was nowhere near where I should’ve been... then everything changed. My teammate, also my age, my greatest rival uttered the phrase after her beat me in the state championship “overrated” to some fellow classmates. It hurt because he was one of my best friends, it hurt because it was now how all my classmates perceived my running ability, but above all it hurt because it was true... The offseason all I remembered was him saying that, I become insane and developed the craziest work ethic ever. Go to school, grind, end school grind running, return from school grind school and go to bed Repeat Repeat Repeat I began going on insanely long runs, half marathon after half marathon, even dropping over 17 miles one day. Today I sit having beaten that teammate in every single outdoor track race, and haven decimated all of my pr’s, 2 Mile - Indoor - 10:38 Now - 10:09 1 Mile - Indoor - 4:52 Now - 4:41 The reason I am on this video though is because today is the state championship and as I sit hear today on this bus I have come to realize the journey of this season is not over, I’m ranked 6th but top 4 advance to all states, I will be back to update how I did....

I was a blessed athlete, smart as hell, but gave it all up for drugs to relieve the internal pressure I put on myself. Ten years later I’m the only one alive out of all my friends from addiction. Died a couple times but always was spared. Just always thought it was luck of the draw. Now 12 years later I’m about to get married but I feel like I could do more. After hearing this it motivated me like sports did that put me thru college, but this got me up like it was my first game. I’ve always out worked everyone around me, but now I want to double myself. If I do 15 reps, I want to do 30 more, I want to beat myself in every aspect of life. I want to kill anything I could do before but 10x more!
