I live in France and I have found that you need a UK phone number to access the Parking app, but it does except a French number plate. For those of us living in another country I would get a cheap UK SIM card so you can complete the registration payment can be made via "Google pay" or a bank card. Thank you for showing this app we may visit the UK now before we always avoided going because the camp site fees where so expensive and at times hard to book due to them being full or booked for months in advance.

Many of the Premier Inn car parks and indeed rooms have become semi derelict over the last few years.. so wouldn't worry how or where to park just like many others as long as you can!

That’s price is more like it. I just hate going to those places where it says £10 park up for the night and then you don’t have any facilities at all why do people accept to pay that if I was really desperate and really tired and I couldn’t drive anymore then yes I would pay £10 to park, but other than that no way great video keep them rolling❤😊

Great video! I’ve done this dozens of times in Premier Inn, Village Hotel and Holiday Inn’s and never had an issue. I always keep it ‘stealthy’, tuck my van away in a corner and I’ve never had an issue. It’s a great way to visit a town or city particularly if the park up is out of town and near a park and ride. Also useful when I need to break up a long journey. I always check it states that overnight parking is allowed and that there’s no mention of sleeping in vehicles being prohibited 😊

That’s a great idea, the only thing that worries me are hotel carparks are often targeted for theft from motor vehicles. Mine still looks like a work van.

Try smearing a little bit of Vaseline (Similar lubricants available 😉) around the edge of the opening before you clip the lid onto the Blink camera. That should keep the moisture out.

These are the worse places to park, van thieves are always targeting these places for van tools.

Why everyone is talking wd40 is nothing but a petrol washed away after rain. What you need is a proper grease like copper grease or motorbike chain grease that will be held in place.

Do favourite chicken give you more than the six or seven fries KFC do. KFC used to be decent, it's now bloody awful. Should be renamed KFQ (Kentucky fried Quail), because the chicken portions are tiny, i think they feed KFC chickens a diet of fresh air and Mounjaro injections. Its served lukewarm if your lucky, but mostly tepid, and the secret coating is 95% salt so you dehydrate after eating it. Unfortunately you will have to drink the KFC fizzy drink offering, which tastes like a fizzy drink that has been left in a cup for three days before you drink it, flat and watery. Shame really because KFC used to be really good years ago. Don't know why it all went pear shaped.

This app will simply become just like van life itself. When I started living in vans over 40 years ago, I was pretty much the only person doing so apart from True travellers. KZbin has completely destroyed my lifestyle simply because of the volume of people now engaging in van life and the same will happen with this app. In fact promoting this app will probably bring an end to Van life even quicker which I fully encourage and hopefully this van life thing will go away and I can continue doing what I have done all my life before I am too old.
