Also known as Baltic gold, better known as Baltic amber. Before leaving the Neringa peninsula I couldn't resist to ride the motorcycle on the beach and glad I did because a man started randomly talking to us and showed us where to find amber. After the gold rush we take the ferry to Klaipeda which used to be a German city known as Memel. The region along with Kaliningrad gave birth to Prussia and historically could be considered as one of the main drives leading up to both world wars in the previous century. We settle down around Palanga near the Latvian border where meet the strongest chess players in Lithuania. Motorcycle trip riding through Lietuva.

@@iPedroMota for that...for driving there you can be fined and you can lose your drivers license ... You are not allowed to drive there..(especialy if its national park), you cant park closer thant 25 meters to water if there are no parking. Be careful

Those are pretty big pieces. But be careful before putting in the bag, because sometimes phosphorus can be washed up on the shore and they look like amber and burn without O2. I would prepare salt water cup and to see which one floats or not. Floating ones could be amber. Just my opinion, can't take any responsibility. So do your own research.

Yes, there are some cases reported where people put yellow phosporus in their bags instead of amber. There is more of it in recent times :(.

@@iPh3x Phosphorus is not transparent. Some amber is also not transparent (especially big pieces which have "brak"), some can be dark yellow, redish , white or almost black. Unfortunately phosphorus it is also light and floats. But from what I see what you've found it's 100% amber.

Hi Pedro I also follow a channel of a travelling (mainly on bycicle) Brazilian guy that recently (one year ago) decided to travel with a girl that he met. What I´m observing there is similar to what I anticipate might happen in your channel eventually. Hope you are sure that it is amber. On some coasts, there are similar-looking stones, which are not amber and something important it also can be phosphor from the 2nd ww. Which is dangerous stuff in the summer. Just make sure to have a google search.

It is amber 100%. Usually, you can find so many ambers after the storms. And it is easy to check if it is amber; it glows in UV light, or you can burn it, and it smells like tree sap. I have never heard of anyone finding phosphorus here on the beaches.

Nice Pedro. I would think there would be more people in the beach with the amber, pretty cool. I was watching on KZbin the mining of minerals in parts of Africa and Latin America, so dangerous sometimes. Good price on the lodging. Keep them coming man. Cool i was actually in Klaipeda right at the moment of turnover working on a cargo ship delivering grain from france which was put on a train to russia, russian soldiers everywhere on the docks fully armed and in the city lithuanians pulling over lenin statues crazy times... great to see your there.
