Prowlers have an easier time escaping the tornado, just burrow underground. You also can't be sucked in if you grab onto one of the ballista in time.

Alatreon: - you can hit tail - also, you can use aerial style on that tail Amatsu: - from what i remember, there is artillery to bind it down - also, when you failed to get distance on Amatsu vacuum tornado, sheath your weapon run away and right before tornado, SUPER HERO BELLY FLOPP OF INVINCIBILITY

I'm a total scrub when it comes to avoding Amatsu's tornado vortex, my alternate strat is instead bring a Farcaster, 10 Bomb Materials, 10 Exciteshrooms, and a Book of Combo 1 pop one in if you couldn't stagger him in time before the attack

Ingle Isle is actually a WHOLE lot easier of a map if you equip "Heat Cancel" (Heat Res+10) on your skillset. There's even actually an armor set that bundles Heat AND Cold Res just by default.

or better yet there's also Tropic Hunter skill (HotBlooded +10) where not just makes you immune to the heat drain (lava included and I think Teostra's flame aura too) but also buffs your attack and defense while staying in hot areas on other hand drinking Hot Drink now gives a minor defense buff so it's not completely useless skill in cold areas lmfao

@ Yes, the biggest secret about Heat Cancel is that it ALSO blocks damage from touching volcanic terrain, and ALSO Teostra's flame aura. Even in MH:World.

I've very recently unlocked BB diablos, you only need to do one hunt of every Grank unlocked deviant. You should be able to get that done in one stream easy once you have your armor sets made.

To unlock Bloodbath, you have to defeat all deviants at least once (the first quest for each deviant) AND defeat the final boss Urgent Quest of Generations Ultimate

idk if you're just playing at your own pace or really looking for an upgrade, and idk it would be considered spoilers but just in case since you already went to G2 at G-Rank, the Elder series weapons are Rarity 8 (early G-Rank) weapons whose appearance resemble the starter Petrified weapons but in red, they can be made from common parts gather in any parts of G-Rank maps, while their second upgrade requires Bherna Ticket G and depends on the weapon class a bit of large monster slaying, but having decent amount of natural White sharpness and 280 base raw at G2 is very much worth the shot and for armor sets there's Alloy X which can be made just from mining stuff in G Volcano and some bugcatching in G Jungle, or if you want a bit of challenge the Ceanataur X is also pretty good finally, idk if you have bought the Powercharm/Armorcharm from the items shop yet but just holding them in your inventory gives small but permanent boost to your attack and defense, additionally they can be combined with Deviljho Talon each to upgrade into Powertalon/Armortalon respectively (make sure you have at least all 4-5 Book of Combos before combining), and the holding them all at once also stacks the effects altogether

You gotta try to take down Amatsu with switch axe (I recommend striker) and try to topple him when he's charging his big tornado attack with the axe swing loop thingy (I don't know the name). It's so satisfying.

When I was progressing on G2 quests, i used the elder weapons and upgraded them to sage and each of them has a lot of atk(around 280 i think) and are easy to make to. Hope this helps!

GU does ruin a lot of 'first experiences' with past flagships. Its why I never agreed that it was the best trad mh title for World/Rise players to start with.

@Katharoni yeah GU was my first time hunting Lagiacrus and was underwhelmed. Got extra upset when they didnt bother releasing it on the 3DS (even thought XX was), essentially forcing you to buy a whole new console.

To be honest even with all its jank I STILL prefer old Alatreon to the Iceborne one. Yes, simply cause old one was just a fight fair and square, without dumb damage checks like Escaton.

Old alatreon was more fair than new alatreon? Are you insane? Not only was his head almost completely inaccessible for a lot of weapons but the entire rest of his body was coated with shitzones His charges were extremely inconsistent and had very little telegraph to them. Sometimes he would go straight for you, sometimes he would aim for where you would be in 50 seconds if you kept running that direction Compare that to new alatreon, not only does he have what is possibly the most refined and clean set of hitboxes in all of mh history, his moveset and attacks are very diverse and carefully sewn together while taking the hunter into account. Many attacks that new alatreon do leave his head in a vulnerable position that is accessible to all weapons, his attacks are very well telegraphed both visually and audibly. To say that old alatreon was better in ANY way especially while your only reason is that it doesn't have escaton, is being disingenuous

So I keep hearing u talk on how to unlock bloodbath and everyone has been wrong. U need to beat all new g rank unlocked deviants yo get bloodbath. I have him unlocked and had only done 3 low/high rank ones when I unlocked bloodbath. Also do try to get silver wind gear as it's g rank skills r extremely good. Edit: if ur doing events as well old fatty gear is extremely good as well but only the event version
