Use the rack & pinion from the W210. Easiest way to get it converted. I’m currently in the process of doing it to mine. The mk2 Jetta works, mk4 golf has been. Mitsubishi ASX has been done as well. Those last 3 does require a bit more fabrication. But they are more responsive than the w210
