The beach views were extraordinarily good and I continued fishing with 5 fishing rods, I hope I didn't count wrong. It's true that this is called the sport of running along the beach here and there, taking turns picking up fish. Awesome various types of fish, one of which is the pompano fish and the strike party continues on the second day, really cool fishing trip, GUYSSS 🤝🤙👍

I've always preferred the lakes and serenity of fresh water fishing but you guys make that look like a lot of fun. I hope to retire in a few years. What basic setup for Saltwater would you recommend. Thanks in advance

I grew up fishing fresh water and still love it. But there is something magical about saltwater since you never really know what species you may catch. For beach gear, I’d get a sand flea rake for that free bait and rod holders. We started with pvc holders but upgraded to Deerfield spikes very quickly. They make a big difference. We very much like the Ninja Dagger 11’ & 12’ rods paired with the Penn Battle DX 5000 series reels. And of course a beach cart to carry your gear. Tight lines🎣❤️

What indicates that there might be sand flees under the sand? Do you see air holes like other animals when the water goes back

Sand fleas can be seen scurrying along the waterline when the waves are being pulled away from shore. They bury into the sand but with the water movement they are washed out. During the winter, when it’s colder, they bury much deeper and can’t be found as readily. Tight lines🎣❤️

They are hard head cats. No one eats them here on the Gulf but we do have Sail cats that are supposed to be tasty. 🎣🤙
