According to 1 Corinthians 12:13, believers have been baptized by the Holy Spirit into the body of Christ. We receive the Holy Spirit the moment of our conversion. You can receive a fresh outpouring subsequent to your regeneration but there's no such thing as a Holy Spirit -less Christian

What you can do is read the Bible everyday. Pray fervently each day. Fast at least half a day once a week and join a Bible believing church where you can Fellowship with other Christians and be held accountable

It takes some of us of a long time to get our act together. Jesus doesn’t expect perfection for any of us. He is more concerned with our ever increasing efforts to better and more loving. In my opinion this is the straight and narrow path Jesus talked about. Many people don’t even know what their path is let alone how to follow it. Just become kinder and more loving until you die this is the path we should all be one. But too have few choose to follow.
