Actually this happens quite a bit in real life. Even if not adopted, there are monsters who'll adore others' kids but treat their own worse than they'd treat stray dogs.. sigh. There are so many AiTAH stories on reddit.

For once, a story without an agonizingly long narrative of abuse and angst. More on how the protagonist got her life back. Glad that she didn't lie to the Smiths either and did not even try to overstay her welcome. Refreshing also that the this tale didn't really end in a love story.

Lisa's greed could never be satiated. Had to have the best especially at Grace's expense. Lisa didn't care about love, but winning.

love it love it love it! Love reborn/revenge stories and this one was good. In these stories, the characters are given 2nd chances, the FL to get her revenge and the scumbags and bches to maybe change?, but the scumbag and bches don't redeem themselves, they only do worse. Bad is bad, no matter being reborn.

💛🤗Such a satisfying ending, with a strong & resilient FL. Thank you for your hard work, you are a very talented writer🫶🏻. I loved everything about the story . All of the antagonists got exactly what they deserved. As a mother, I can't fathom how any mother would treat their child like this. Adopting a child that has no blood ties to you, is perfectly ok. But there should be no difference, & treated as if they had just birthed another kid. By giving them EQUAL love, respect, attention , & opportunities. This family was horrid, & damn near inhumane. The sad thing about it, is that there really are families like this... or WORST. Good job in writing this believable story, without the stupid & ridiculous drama. I loved the FL & her new family...specially Walter😄💛. I added it to my personal favorites ☺️🙏🏼

It's easy to win people hearts when you are the one who needed to be the pity with some innocent looks and sweet talks, and they are on your side. if you show weakens, you can make people feel sorry for you, especially if you victimised yourself innocently suddenly you get everyone's love, attention, and support with just some tears they will dots on you. And if you think it's just the usual plot line for those stories, it's not If you're pitifully enough, everyone believes you without a doubt or question. Everything you say becomes the only truth that matters. Right at your fingertipss easily

It didnt say at first except that the woman liked her and invited her to live with them. Later we learn she saved the father, and at the end we see she deliberately saved him when the news triggered her memory of the former life.

Amazing story❤ Please solve some of my confusions : Lisa almost got close to the Smith family too PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME THAT EVEN IF SMITHS NOT LEAVING THE COUNTRY SHE NOT GETTING GRACE'S PLACE AGAIN AND Grace said MRS SMITH HELPED GRACE TAKING REVENGE that means she knowingly said they are leaving the country and going and she talks to Lisa nicely was all facade ? What I want to ask is even if Smith's not leaving they are not gonna treat Lisa like grace biological parents did Although They didn't leave the country till end. PLEASE SOMEONE ANSWER.

This is a terribly boring revenge story cos there is no revenge from FL side but many many dumb actions....even when she is confronting Lisa, fl doesn't even consider recording or video taping her vitriol.... If her adoptive family wasnt nice to her n wasnt all powerful n if convenient accidents didnt help FL out, fl basically would do squat 🙄🙄🙄🙄
