I disassembled my Twin Sensor Protrek watch

I have an earlier PRT 30 Twin Sensor. It has a screw that says "do not turn", which I of course had already done by the time I read it. Any idea what it is for? Calibration of sensors or the quartz?

I have a Protrek PRG300-CM and I get "ERROR" in the Altimeter, Barometer and Temperature functions. It has a solution??
