You got the witch and the beast wrong. Ashaf is the mage whose carrying the true body of Giddeu. Giddeu was cursed by a witch to be in a former witch body that happens to be a little girl. Giddeu was the one trapped not ashaf.

The main problem I have with Ishura is it feels so incomplete. It feels like the show needs about another 36 episodes before it can come to a decent resolution... however, I'm not so sure they'll ever commit to the 3+ seasons required to finish this story.

Dead Dead Demons Destruction is BY FAR the best under watched, under appreciated, sleeper hit, and in my opinion Anime of the Year that no one is talking about. I don't know how it went under the radar, it's just like Heavenly Delusion, Magical Destroyers, and Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken of the past few years.
