Those mosques are former Christian churches . Recently ( 20th century) converted to a mosque. The mosque in front of the light house was the former catholic church Of St Francis. . That's why it looks European. Safe and happy journey ❤

The mosque existed in the 1750s pre dating the Portuguese.

Without writing answers like an idiot 😜 I am talking about this particular building and it's originality. Even a blind man can see the structure and easily identify it as a church.
