Australia here! Great content and beautiful scenery! Please do not go into water filled mines, especially hot water ones! Water leaches heavy metals and toxins like arsenic and your skin absorbs them. You have seen green rocks on your adventures, these are rocks with high levels of copper in them (copper goes green as it oxidises, like how iron goes red/rusty brown). All these metals are associated with other metals, which are toxic to humans. Never swim in those old mine ponds, lakes. Take care and thanks for the wonderful beauty you show the world. Louis.

I answered and said, "If I have found favor in thy sight, O Lord, show this also to thy servant: whether after death, as soon as every one of us yields up his soul, we shall be kept in rest until those times come when thou wilt renew the creation, or whether we shall be tormented at once?" 76 He answered me and said, "I will show you that also, but do not be associated with those who have shown scorn, nor number yourself among those who are tormented. 77 For you have a treasure of works laid up with the Most High; but it will not be shown to you until the last times. 78 Now, concerning death, the teaching is: When the decisive decree has gone forth from the Most High that a man shall die, as the spirit leaves the body to return again to him who gave it, first of all it adores the glory of the Most High. 79 And if it is one of those who have shown scorn and have not kept the way of the Most High, and who have despised his law, and who have hated those who fear the Most High -- 80 such spirits shall not enter into habitations, but shall immediately wander about in torments, ever grieving and sad, in seven ways. 81 The first way, because they have scorned the law of the Most High. 82 The second way, because they cannot now make a good repentance that they may live. 83 The third way, they shall see the reward laid up for those who have trusted the covenants of the Most High. 84 The fourth way, they shall consider the torment laid up for themselves in the last days. 85 The fifth way, they shall see how the habitations of the others are guarded by angels in profound quiet. 86 The sixth way, they shall see how some of them will pass over into torments. 87 The seventh way, which is worse than all the ways that have been mentioned, because they shall utterly waste away in confusion and be consumed with shame, and shall wither with fear at seeing the glory of the Most High before whom they sinned while they were alive, and before whom they are to be judged in the last times. 88 "Now this is the order of those who have kept the ways of the Most High, when they shall be separated from their mortal body. 89 During the time that they lived in it, they laboriously served the Most High, and withstood danger every hour, that they might keep the law of the Lawgiver perfectly. 90 Therefore this is the teaching concerning them: 91 First of all, they shall see with great joy the glory of him who receives them, for they shall have rest in seven orders. 92 The first order, because they have striven with great effort to overcome the evil thought which was formed with them, that it might not lead them astray from life into death. 93 The second order, because they see the perplexity in which the souls of the unrighteous wander, and the punishment that awaits them. 94 The third order, they see the witness which he who formed them bears concerning them, that while they were alive they kept the law which was given them in trust. 95 The fourth order, they understand the rest which they now enjoy, being gathered into their chambers and guarded by angels in profound quiet, and the glory which awaits them in the last days. 96 The fifth order, they rejoice that they have now escaped what is corruptible, and shall inherit what is to come; and besides they see the straits and toil from which they have been delivered, and the spacious liberty which they are to receive and enjoy in immortality. 97 The sixth order, when it is shown to them how their face is to shine like the sun, and how they are to be made like the light of the stars, being incorruptible from then on. 98 The seventh order, which is greater than all that have been mentioned, because they shall rejoice with boldness, and shall be confident without confusion, and shall be glad without fear, for they hasten to behold the face of him whom they served in life and from whom they are to receive their reward when glorified. 99 This is the order of the souls of the righteous, as henceforth is announced; and the aforesaid are the ways of torment which those who would not give heed shall suffer hereafter." 100 I answered and said, "Will time therefore be given to the souls, after they have been separated from the bodies, to see what you have described to me?" 101 He said to me, "They shall have freedom for seven days, so that during these seven days they may see the things of which you have been told, and afterwards they shall be gathered in their habitations." 102 I answered and said, "If I have found favor in thy sight, show further to me, thy servant, whether on the day of judgment the righteous will be able to intercede for the unrighteous or to entreat the Most High for them, 103 fathers for sons or sons for parents, brothers for brothers, relatives for their kinsmen, or friends for those who are most dear." 104 He answered me and said, "Since you have found favor in my sight, I will show you this also. The day of judgment is decisive and displays to all the seal of truth. Just as now a father does not send his son, or a son his father, or a master his servant, or a friend his dearest friend, to be ill or sleep or eat or be healed in his stead, 105 so no one shall ever pray for another on that day, neither shall any one lay a burden on another; for then every one shall bear his own righteousness and unrighteousness." .....2 Esdras 7:75 ///////////

As a wildlife control agent in SW Virginia (JDF Wildlife - YT) I thank you for bringing awareness to the great benefit bats provide for the environment. One of my favorite aspects of being a WCA is the fact I get to help educate folk. It's incredible how easy one can calm another's anxiety just by providing a little knowledge in a compassionate manner. I know as far as we are concerned in SWVA our bat populations are generally very healthy. Currently, our biggest concern with rabies is brewing in the fox population, which is sad, but even so, the number of cases is still very low. As far as I'm aware, bats are generally the least likely to have rabies compared with racoons and foxes. Anywho, thanks for a great exploration video. That was quite enjoyable.

My sister got married on the Annandale Ranch near Concan Texas. There is a bat cave on the ranch that is famous. Multi millions of bats emerge starting as early as 3pm in late May because it takes them so long to emerge with there being so many. It is an awesome display and the entrance is level with the ground atop a small ridge so you can stand within feet of where they are blasting out. Amonia small of the guano is pretty overwhelming though. Big hawks and eagles hover way up in the sky and then dive through the formations of bats catching one for dinner. The bats will travel nightly down the Rio Grande valley eating bugs along all the agricultural areas.

He really wanted you to get out of there, and was much happier when you were in the river together and he could keep an eye on you. Those rock formations were beautiful and strange. And finally...the bats! Holy cow, I've seen bats many times, but never in such vast numbers. Thanks so much for sharing all of this with us. I really enjoyed it.

Please, don´t go alone, on this Camping and Hiking Tours. And more important, carry a "PLB" (Personal Locater Beacon) in Case of an Emergency. A lot of People, vanish, in the Woods and in Remote Places, even in National Parks. Please, be careful and always, take someone with you. A second Person, not only a Dog. For your own safety.
@DatDamnLlama7 ай бұрын
You have a significantly higher chance of dying in a car accident. So don't drive anywhere. I know it was snarky, but being alone in the wilderness is as 100% safe as you make it. Beacon, knife, lots of water, multi tool, firearm, good walking stick/spear. Most people take a risk to see that next ledge or try to see what's down that and they take that 100% down significantly. Hunters go out in the wilderness alone, early morning and dark when the predators are hunting, and they do this regularly throughout the year.
@patrickl61857 ай бұрын
Agree you can go alone with the dog but make sure you have the backup if something goes wrong. Becon extra water, first aid, check the weather, etc but also leave a note or tell people your where about and for how long. Takes one slip, a bite or bad weather and sadly you may not make it back.
@natanluiza29367 ай бұрын
None of anyone's business if I choose to go it alone in God's territory. Biblical pattern: the fathers of the faith would go to the wilderness in order to be alone in the presence of HaShem and commune with Him. It is my right, and the right of anyone to practice this. My advice is to teach the next generation to be well-informed, rugged independents, and to reduce oversight by any means, including technological oversight. Begin by making it culturally unacceptable to fear disaster or calamity by empowering the youth with incredible insight, knowledge and skill in survival, and common sense. Then flood the courts, hearings, and polls with our voices and votes until "they" are afraid of overstepping their boundaries. I hate the new drone policy, as an example. I am a Jewish believer in Jesus, so naturally I am inclined to be lawful and passionate of the covenant we made with God when the First Nations reached out the to Great Spirit as well as when the pilgrims who co-habited peacefully with them and dedicated their travels to our Lord by covenant, the God who gave us unaleinable rights and intends to perfectly keep His end of the deal if we would respect His authority to empower and protect us. This is privacy. This is higher spirituality. This is God's country. 🇺🇲

That was brilliant! I remember twenty years ago when I lived on Malta for a year and explored the island obsessively I came upon Gnejna Bay in the north. It features a Death Valley looking sandstone butte that separates two popular bays and so I promptly explored the goat paths and little coves of the butte and I found that the flat-topped butte was honeycombed with caves around its base, some of which had faint signs of smoke stains on their roofs. Then one day I saw, just sticking out of the sand by the water a strange, amber coloured object. It was a beautifully fossilized section of some big rib off of some kind of creature the likes of which is long gone from Europe. Then I realized that both ends still showed the signs of extremely sharp cuts, like a butchers cleaver. I noticed that along both flat sides of the rib there were multiple repeated slice scars. I sat there looking out over the Mediterranean and I realized that, at the very least, this was a relic of at least 200,000 years ago or more, long before Homo Sapiens wandered in. Until the Ice Age ended, no doubt Neanderthals lived in this series of caves as high as up as a castle tower with a view over miles of grassland which the Med has since covered. One night perhaps a woolly rhino or a mammoth had been butchered and with a great deal of precision one of our Neanderthal foremothers had delicately stripped the meat off this enormous piece of spare rib with a stone tool as sharp as a razor and passed it to one of her family, probably saying, "Eat it before it gets cold, and don't wipe your fingers in your hair!" The bone was then thrown down the slope, turning to stone, where it lay until I found it.

Absolutely breathtaking! If I wasn't so old I would love to see these places! I did some of this kind of thing on horseback in my youth. Back in1980 I was out on a horse trek and discovered a wagon wreck in a small canyon. It was really cool too because everything was still there. The skeleton of the horse was still in the harness, a great deal of the bones were missing though, but the spine and ribcage were still there. The wagon was torn up and all the things that were in it were still there as well. It looked like there was once an old road that wound around this little canyon but the road sort of just got slimmer and slimmer until it was no more. Maybe the wagon driver was trying to turn around when the wagon and horse went over the side. There was no sign of human bones but lots of human belongings. That was one of the coolest things I ever found on one of my horse camping trips! I love your videos very much and very happy that you don't use a lot of annoying music!!!

Cool adventure. I wish I had a drone when I used to regularly go exploring. The geography there is interesting. All the layers of sandstone appear to contain rocks and rubble throughout. Depending on what they were mining there, could be a great spot to find concentrations of "something" at the bottom of the canyons. I am an Aussie so I don't know the history of this area, whether this it was uplifted through plate tectonics, glaciers, or former flood planes but it is unusual to see the larger rocks mixed throughout all the layers. If you are a regular adventurer, it is handy to know some basics of geology, minerals, fossils and gemstones because finding untouched fossicking or metal detecting locations is some of the best fun you can have.

Thank you, Nolan for sharing the awesome bat cave with us all! I appreciate bats because they keep the mosquitoes in check. Years ago, I accidentally stepped on a baby bat in our accommodations at SalmonCon in North Bend, WA. My husband and I slept in a converted silo which a bat mother had a nest in the ceiling. A baby fell down to the floor and I stubbed it with my toe in the dark. We had a bat expert on the premises so we brought it to the bat guy to take to a facility to care for it. The baby was so cute and I let it grab hold of my finger and took a photo. It lived for a week but was apparently sick and eventually died. I didn't want them to kill it to find out if it had rabies or not. I never got it so it maybe was just weak and couldn't hold on to its perch. I'm also a spelunker so I'm not afraid of bats or the dark. I wanted to add that your drone videos show us vantage points we would never see any other way. Totally AWESOME footage! 😁👍

I am not sure where this was filmed, but I used to fly on business to Flagstaff, Tuscon and Phoenix a lot and would look at similar terrain from the air as we flew relatively low on the commuter airlines that flew to and from Flagstaff. There were many times I looked at the canyons and wanted to hike into them, although I would wear snake boots that went up higher on my leg than the op. What surprised me about this video is that even traveling far away off the "beaten path", there are still the effects of humans. This was one of the best filmed and edited videos I have seen. I live in the Ozarks, and we have some similar terrain.
