I discovered the real Truth behind Ghost Villages in Uttarakhand

Ghost villages are not something we should be scared of, instead it's a place we should care about.
The story covered in this video is just a glimpse of what people face in the ghost villages. For us the hills are a representation of seclusion and tranquillity, and the phenomena of migration is seen as a simple villager leaving their idyllic home for a city full of people and pollution. But what we fail to see that villages are communities and work only as communities. If even a third of the village is gone, it becomes difficult for the rest to stay back and put the pieces back together.
Major Gorki Chandola and his family has revived their ancestral village (Rawat gaon) which turned into Ghost village in Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. Many people tried doing the same but it's really difficult considering the topography of hilly areas in Uttarakhand.
