@@yoyoyo7087 the answer is both, it depends on the song for blackpink, it will often be auto tune, lip sync, because the choreography will be too exhausting. But hey there are few groups that have the vocal level of (G) idle, they are just pure singers (there is Shu Hua who is below but is improving a lot lately)

what often happens is that they have the voices in the playback track along with the musical instruments - so if a performer decides not to sing live - they would still be heard in the playback - this especially helps when dancing - or in the case of Jessica when she was with SNSD - she said there were times when she didn't actually sing live (ie she let her playback voice cover for her) - (this also caused an on-the-air mistake when the playback got stuck - repeating the same few bars - when Jessica was lipsyncing) there are a couple ways of telling if the singer is lipsyncing - if you know the studio track well enuf - you can spot differences in the stage performance a second way is hearing 2 voices singing at the same time - in part cuz it's nearly impossible to sing exactly the same way - but cuz the acoustics will differ between a playback voice - and the singing voice over the stage sound system

@@NeverlandXidle to comment that Black pink is over rated is a fundamental expression and opinion that is healthy for all mankind . to say they are over rated is not going to bring them down , it might lead others to wake up or realise , look there are darn many groups out there doing a better job . maybe their packaging aint that good ...still i applaud black pink for leading the way .. its like in UFC , ronda rousey led the way for the female market but ultimately people realised she wasnt that good after she got knocked out a few times and quit UFC . A bit of criticism isnt going to kill , we have to be stronger than a comment that says " you are over rated " ...its fine , maybe for now they are , but maybe in future , black pink will make a true comeback and then i will applaud them .
