I Dolci Girl-Group-PENTATONIX-Cover of "Daft Punk"

„I Dolci" is one of our school-choir-groups of the Willy-Brandt-Gymnasium in Oer-Erkenschwick/Germany. We are eight young ladies at the age of 13-16 and meet every schoolday for rehearsals with our music-teacher Wilhelm Gertz. We just practice for fun and don't claim to be professional, but we do our very best when singing.
We love the music and videos of PENTATONIX. We already sang arrangements of them (see our other videos on „vocalwill") and it was a big challenge to try „Daft Punk". We had so much fun singing it, that we decided to make a video in the amazing style of theirs. A former student of our school and still a member of our choirs, Mr. Bastian Deitermann, had the „know how" and created it as a gift for us. We are very thankful and excited!
The making of: Of course there is no bass and no vocaldrummer in the girl-group, so we had to add some midi-sounds (especially percussion) and we tuned the voice of Johanna (the deep alto on the left) twice on separate tracks 12 and 24 tones downwards and mixed it with her normal voice (listen to 3:07). The video was made in the youthcenter „Joes" in Oer-Erkenschwick on Sunday, 8th June 2014. We had very much fun producing it with Bastian! Of course the main work was his afterwards and we are enthusiastic about the result.
