Sometimes human beings don't really want to understand the concepts of God and RELIGION.. religion is man made.. without religion human beings wouldn't have the knowledge of any God.. God is human invention.. human being created God! Who told us the creater of this universe is called God? NOBODY knew how this universe together with the ocean, the sun, moon and the planet and everything came to existence.. some humans sat down wondering how these things came into existence so they created tge concepts of religion to expalin how all these came into existence and concluded that there is a God up there in the sky who created all this things.. the jews, christians and muslims don't worship the same god..

There's a better way to explain or describe God than that analogy, " Who created the sea, bla bla bla..." This analogy raises yet further question, who created the God that created what you're referring to. Some people would answer that the God is Self-existing, this too is shallow because if the God can exist without being created then the things you refer to can exist without being created.
