I appreciate the explanation of the Saudi foreign minister, both for his excellent level of articulation and for the information and detail he provided through the content of his communication, however it was notable that he failed to mention Hamas by their name. This is a trend that I've seen with pro-Palestinian figures, and it only serves to damage their credibility. On the same token, those who are pro-Israel must denounce Netanyahu and his far-right cabinet as they are showing a gross disregard for civilian safety in their pursuit of the elimination of Hamas, and, with all due respect to the Palestinian community and their basic human rights, this approach from Israel is a stain on the broader international community, to say the least.
