to those idiots who think this is auto-tune: "acoustic" means auto-tune free, practically on the spot singing and performing. Autotune is used in studios for techy effects, like featured in "Immortals" on the new album.

Thats not true. Autotune is used to correct pitch, as well as other plug ins such as Melodyne. If it does its intended job, you dont even hear it. You'll never notice its there, unless its cranked all the way up to create an effect. And even then, other effects and methods are frequently used to create robot type voices. And no, acoustic versions do not mean on the spot performances, this was recorded in a studio i bet 10 to 1. And aside from autotune, there are other standard vocal improving techniques used. This is likely several takes cut together, with effects such as reverbs and compressors and whatnot added. On top of that its been equalized and mastered, so its far from a raw performance. No ill will intended, just clarifying. Sincerely, an audio engineer.

Doctor Plague Yea well I've seen Fall Out Boy live in concert and I can tell you they sound exactly the same as the music in their albums. They did this song, not the acoustic, but it sounded the exact same live as it did on my phone. So it doesn't matter what auto tune really is because they don't need it to be amazing.
