Lol it’s all a tag team effort. My videos are those little samples you get in food courts that leave you wanting more (if you like the vehicle being filmed). The long format videos are the full entrees. All of us love what we do and our goal is to teach people about cars in the unique ways God gifted us. 🙂

@@DanTheMan_75that's the CX9 this is a CX-90 it's larger than the previous one with a larger engine the CX9 came with a 2.5 I4 turbo, this has their new 3.3 I6 turbo. The drivetrain is completely different the CX9 was transverse this is longitudinal so the majority of the power drives the rear wheels. Underneath this is a drastically different vehicle. The styling is very close to that of the second Gen CX9 but Mazda is more reserved to their styling and appearance and keeps a form that's present throughout all their models. This is now a contender against other like the Volvo XC90 and Kia Telluride.

Exactly what i was thinking. I fucking love that Mazda still uses physical buttons and lights for all the main functions. Nobody likes swiping through menus in a touch screen while driving just to turn on the heated seats.

@@dc2k453Lol Toyota can't even get a good looking display inside, the base 8" touchscreen in many of their cars have such massive bezels especially because they removed the physical buttons on the sides... the 10.5" in the New Rav4 is nice but still has the big side bezels. but the 12" and 14" units in their new gen cars are beautiful... But at least all their cars have a dedicated instrument cluster (anadigi mix or fully digi) unlike Teslas and some other EVs

HIGHLY AGREE. My mother-in-law has a Mazda 3. Got into a pretty bad wreck with it (got sandwiched by two 18-wheelers) and all major issues were cosmetic. Engine, gearbox, and electronics had no issues whatsoever and she STILL drives it. It’s a 2017 model I believe.

Any such animal is going to have enormous dimensions, and the CX-90 is already the largest Mazda ever made. 3rd rows in pretty much anything are either for short rides or very short people..no getting around that without either making the thing as long as a stretch limo or cutting cargo space (with all seats up) to near useless levels.

I’ve driven one last weekend. I drove others and the Mazda is sticking out in my mind. It’s not a forgettable car. I am almost finished with a Mazda CX-5 lease. I’ve decided I’ll purchase it for $20k instead of turning it in. It has only 16k miles and I still really like it! Mazda is terrific. Underrated small company with models built well in Japan, not all of them but 2 or 3 still.

I had a 2002 Protege5 for +15 years with no issues except rear fender rust towards the end of life. Just picked up a 2023 CX-30 Premium Plus for a new daily driver and couldn’t be happier to be back in a Mazda. I like the styling, the interior fit/finish, and the AWD with the 2.5 turbo is a blast to drive.

I’ve had 5 of them because I trade every 2-3 years. I love them: never a problem. Efficient, No CVT, a little soul to it, reasonably fun with great steering, built well, refined. I sold them for 5 years too. Mazda keeps getting better and better; small company compared to Honda, Nissan and Toyota.

The problem I have with this car is that you can basically get an MDX Type S at a similar price point, and I just prefer the Acura in most every way vs. the Mazda. It's not like it's bad or anything, it's just that it has stiff competition at this price point.

Mazda 6 held 15 years without any issues. CX-5 is in its 7th year without any issue. All the Mercedes, VW, BMW and Audis of my friends have regular problems. I'm proud to drive a Mazda!

Out of the well known Japanese brands (Toyota, Honda, Nissan), only Mazda is still actually made in JAPAN. I have Mazda6 which has been a great car; exceptional value for the comfort, tech, performance, and fuel economy. I hope Mazda comes out with their own luxury brand one day.

We had one for a rental car last month. Great car for sure the interior was really nice. My only gripe is the infotainment was really out dated and not easy to use at all. The heads up display was not needed. Really didn’t get much out of it. But overall a great vehicle.
