Just don't let any kind of fame go to your head and you'll be fine. Rex you are well loved, and I've always had a soft spot for you because you came here from the Philippines, and my grandpa and uncle told me stories about what atrocities had been done to the people there during wwll, and they admired the fight of the people who fought until the US came back to liberate the land from the Japanese who committed such horrific carnage on the people, especially the woman and children. I harbor no hate against anyone, but. these stories i heard growing up, along with everything my other grandpa saw in Germany. These thing's stick with you, especially when you've seen actual picture's of their service as they re tell history. I think you moving here was the dream most people have coming here, especially when the job's where you came from don't pay very well, if you can get one. I used to know a merchant marine from the Philippines, and they are the least paid, but put in the hardest work. He passed away from cancer, and was a good guy, he was friend's with my cousin who was in the same type of business. You shouldn't be so shy, you always make me laugh, and i think that's part of your charm. G-d bless from a lady in cold arse Michigan.

I' British from Italian parents and live in Italy best of both worlds on cars so I loved them all, but listening to the sound of an F430 you get that pleasent chest pain or heart ache you choose.. I'll go back to my little garage with more hope now, I'm rebuilding from scratch a 1973 Fiat 124 spider and it shows that it can be done if you want to. thank you Freddy for showing us little(re) builders your hard work. By the way, that V12 in the Aston, I think you’ll find it’s German, unfortunately.

That's not quite true. The 5.9 V12 in that DBS was designed and initially built in Britain by Cosworth. AM did eventually open their own engine plant in Germany which is where the engines are built now, but its still very much a British design, plus the cars themselves are all built in Britain. I guess it would be like saying the Toyota Corolla is British because its built there, when everyone would still regard it as Japanese.
