Just the opposite for me. I've been playing CoD 4 for 9 years, as have many other people. Now I just don't have the urge to play it that much because I hate the new cosmetics. For me, customization detracts from a game's life span rather than adds to it. I prefer a military game to stay more grounded and not have all of these stupid additions.

They make a decently fun, addicting game, then fill it to the brim with in-game purchases, and use a random chance factor that forces you to pay to get what you want unless you want to spend ages grinding for it, and still possibly not get it. It's absolutely disgusting. And this is in a PAID game. If you pay for a game, the only stuff you should EVER have to pay extra for is sizable DLCs. Not shit like this.

The won't break the game's balance. To do that, they would need weapons with stats that horribly outperform every other weapon in the game. IMO, it's already broken considering the first AR you have unlocked is also the most ovrpowered.
