I'm sorry, if my fiance put me in something that I would be in agony wearing and I'd hate, I would rethink marrying him. But I also would talk audnausiem about what I do and don't want in a dress so he could keep it in mind. I have HUGE boobs and i couldn't pull off a strapless, if a man put me in something his pecker wanted not even THINKING of what I'd like, he could suck dicks. The dress isn't for him, it's for her. And men are notoriously shitty shoppers for women. My ex picked a ton of outfits for me once, they were ill fitting, horrible colours, and left most of my legs and tits hanging out.

Shosho Jawhar I could tell the minute I saw her outside that she would be a problem bride. I had a designer bridal studio and shop for 20 years. First I got rid of bridesmaids clientele, horrid people, then as the years went on, the brides, then the mothers of the brides became almost insane. One instance, making a tight shell pink silk liner with softest soft warm French lace overlay. Her parents were chief of plastic surgery at NY Hospital, and her other parent was the chief of anesthesiology there. Guess what? Bride tries on final gown and it balloons out over her hips. What the heck? Turns out her parents did liposuction and body sculpting that weekend.I had to remake the dress and the parents wanted to know why I charged them an additional $800. ( cheap for a redo into a new gown). Told them I had to remake the gown to fit her. Bridesmothers coming in and screaming at me I call the police. Father , a judge, coming in to tell me “ do you know who I am”? Actually no I said, but I don’t care as I called the police and you are being removed. It might seem a wonderful glorious world, but the rotten apples tear you up and down. All my wonderful brides cried and hugged, shook and thanked, and I was invited to more weddings than I can ever remember. As soon as the spoiled girls would a t up, I wish there was a way to shoo them out of my shop without their insatiable wrath and over the top disgusting behaviour. Ah me. I still design, make patterns, all my gowns are so outstanding, one bridal store described my gowns as having their own zipcodes! lol.

Let's consider a slightly different perspective here... A dress, especially a formal one, can be very age-oriented and this one, although lovely and very well tailored, doesn't really suit a girl that young. The shoes are a different story, thou... other than aging her even more than the dress, they look like cheap ballroom dancing shoes a nubile, sixty-something aunt will wear for a new year's eve venue at the parish hall... All to say that, personal tastes aside, formal clothing has some very specific requisites that, when not properly fulfilled, will turn everything into a (sad and expensive) masquerade.

I think she probably told him she DID NOT want bling on the dress, because it would be natural to tell your fiancé what you really don't want and what you would like...If she did and he still picked that dress (which I also really, really don't like, by the way) then it would mean he doesn't really listen to her, or worse doesn't really care what she likes as long as he likes it. I don't know enough of the two to be sure, but if she was really clear she didn't want that style and he got it anyway, it can justifiably give cold feet to a bride if she is nervous enough already. Weddings are stressful, emotions are pretty raw by then.

I believe God has a plan for you that will eventually make you grateful that such a tragedy would happen to you. When my [now] late-fiancee committed suicide, I was devastated, even though I knew for most of our relationship that he'd been planning to since his formative years. Because the show is known to "paying for their wedding" in other words they give them a budget of £12,000 (£14,000 in the BBC One and E4 versions) but have the groom plan it without the bride.. so I guess that's what she signed up for knowing the wedding wouldn't come out of their pocket but with that comes sacrifices. I'd be upset but able to laugh it off if my fiancé picked an awful dress but I could see he had kept my personality in mind. Look, her reaction was strong but getting married is a very stressful time, couples fight a lot during this time, and it's common for brides to have second doubts about their dresses. I shopped around A LOT for my dress and still at times have doubts of "should I have gone with X dress at Y store instead?" and then look at pics obsessively. If she hates it that much, she should sell this and get a new dress. I had a similar issue, my mom was very pushy and pressured me into buying a dress very quickly at a department store and I hated the dress. A bride should absolutely love her dress and if she doesn't, she should not get married in that dress.

I’ve seen WAY worse on here! That dress was actually gorgeous! The ribbon was a little out of place but it was still a beautiful dress! Edit: I didn't think I would have to state this, but this is my opinion. I never stated anything about the bride overreacting, or that my opinion was the correct one. Seeing people get so hostile about this is surprising, considering all I said was I thought the dress looked way prettier than I was expecting.

This reminded me of my story. I was supposed to marry this guy. It was an arranged marriage. But you see, he was very abusive with me physically and sexually. And I have very, very low self esteem issues, and a very meek personality. I never raised my voice. My family was very happy, and I didn't wanna ruin that at all. But I was miserable inside. Can you believe, I even wanted to die to escape the marriage. And just before the wedding, I went to pick up my wedding gown, and guess what... it wasn't altered properly. I couldn't even breath in the dress, couldn't sit comfortably and I got so angry and sad, and then it hit me. Like a lightening bolt. If I was so uncomfortable in a dress, something that I only had to wear for a day, and I couldn't tolerate it... then why in the seven hell's was I marrying a man who only treated me like an object. It gave me such courage, i went home immediately. Told my parents every single details. And by God's grace, I have such wonderful parents. They totally supported me, and they called off the wedding. To everyone who read this, Guy or a Girl, please don't be in an abusive relationship, whether physically or mentally. Get out of it. Happiness awaits you on the other end. Also, there are people who would love you and support you. But it's only you who can take the very 1st step. God bless you all.

Easter Ayul His thoughts were they matched the bridesmaids dresses. She was a brat throughout the whole show! She was saying how gross the dress and accessories were, when they were from that woman’s shop! You can see she had the same thoughts as me “what a brat!” Lol. They ended up swapping it for a white/ivory lace and she suddenly loved it all! He did a really romantic wedding too. I think (not sure) it was a Christmas special, hence the burgundy!
