I agree and believe that the people's complaints on the way this game handles the setting of Brazil or lack of from what I read. Those complaints are very valid and the devs have to take it seriously. Even so, I still enjoy Ch 8. I enjoy the characters, the story, the art, the music. To me it was another awesome update for Reverse 1999. But you know, there are people who don't have the same opinion and that's valid. The problem is that some of them are a bit too much. I completely agree with their complaints but I do think it's not nice to shove it down my throat and tell me that I shouldn't be enjoying Ch 8. I should disregard the rest of what Ch 8 has cause of this problem. That's not fun and it's been a doozy to just be nice and be agreeable to those people. As someone who's been playing Reverse 1999 since release week, I don't like how vile some of them get. That's my two cents on this whole deal. I will be putting those complaints into the feedback survey whenever this patch nears its end. Cause I too am disappointed by it but that didn't stop me from enjoying Ch 8. Anyways I hope you get to at least have some enjoyment from the new update.

I do feel like I’ve only seen the criticism so it did make me disinterested but I do still enjoy hanging out with the Vertin fam a lot. Yes the criticism is valid but so far story wise I don’t dislike every aspect of it like I thought I would.

@@comfycheko I think it's important that you shouldn't narrow down to just criticism. That's not healthy. Entertainment was made to be enjoyed not to tear apart every single piece of it. I think it's better to look at what the other side is saying as well. That way you don't sit in an echo chamber of a single opinion. But you know what's really important. Yourself. Make your own opinion first. In the moment while consuming whatever fictional medium or story. How do YOU feel. Did you enjoy it? Did you hate it? That's all you. After that, see what others say. Either it strengthens how you feel or makes you feel the opposite. I luckily got to play Ch 8 without looking at whatever people were talking about. I mean I do that for every new update of Reverse 1999 cause I don't want that preconceived notion on how good or bad it is. I got to feel whatever it is the story is expressing towards me without the influence of outside nonsense. Then I mull over the entire story over and over and over again and then finalize my thoughts on it. Then I see what others are talking about and do research. Now that, that's fun. Sorry for the long ramble, I just had a lot to just release. Thanks for reading.

@ you are correct so don’t apologize. I need to work on that because that was actually similar to the reason I didn’t play the game to begin with. Though I believe there is valid criticism, I do and will continue to address things that I don’t necessarily agree with, for example people saying Mr. Duncan and Mr. Karson not looking alike and things more of that nature. I don’t dislike the character himself because I can see his purpose story wise and he has a nice personality. I just wish they put him somewhere else that makes more sense to the historical background. I do tend to be swayed easily due to my people pleaser tendencies but that is something I am actively trying to work on. I still continue to try my best to show my authentic self to everyone and I appreciate you for what you have said. 🙂↕️✨

I think in many ways chapter 8 is similar to chapter 5, there is a lot of setup, but the story itself isnt that amazing. Also, If you arent from Brazil or South america, you probably wont notice some of the things that are wrong in regards to representation, but it did detract a lot from my enjoyment of the story.

I have mixed feelings about criticism. Yes, there valid points, but people seems to forget that story patches aren't really focus on countries culture. The whole point of violence was only for Sao Paulo(I hope I wrote it right) and it was mostly because of Manus? Overall chapter 8 is a decent prologue for act 2 for main story.

Your feeling about Marcus' skin is almost the same as me. I was expecting her to wear a translucent one piece summer dress/long jacket of some kind as the outer cover up, not whatever she wears on the skin

I’m glad you play this story so i dont have to. Beside Anjo, I find political military stuff boring. The setting also boring compare to haunted hotel.
@JayThalea14 күн бұрын
I think Anjo is waaaaay more interest and lots of personality compare to Isolde
@comfycheko14 күн бұрын
I feel like they both are vastly different in terms of character. They both faced their own trauma and came out the end of it different. Also, Isolde’s family are psychopaths to be fair. They were unhinged.
