Hahahaha REJECTED! Poor girl, she just has to hold on for a little while while he gets used to genuine friendships. It was easy to tell that everyone else liked him while Kidori was being a snob, but when Shibata didn't hold that against him at all, I really appreciated that Kidori didn't stomp out of the picture or get thrown out and instead was like "man I was a jerk" and even gave up his cool bracelet as a gift. They're gonna be best friends!

I didn't pick up on it first time I watched this, but it's really scary that Shibata really can't discern between someone who genuinely likes him, as opposed to someone who dislikes him.

This story took a different trun to what I was expecting; I rly thought Shibata was going to be used and treated badly, but surprisingly everyone (expect Kidori) had warmed up to him. It was very nice to see Shibata come out of his shell thanks go his new friends! (And further props to the rest of the group standing up for Shibata😄)

Hey everyone! I'm the Male VA For today's story. Thanks a lot for watching! When you're shy and introverted like Shibata, it can be hard to realize when others who you think are more popular actually like you. But aside from Kidori, everyone was genuinely enjoying their time with him, and considered him a true friend. This allowed him to open up more, and I can bet they'll be friends long after College is over. And while he's not up for a Girlfriend now, I bet by graduation, Yuka will finally win him over. This story had kinda interesting take. From outsider's POV, some people might think that Shibata is just being used by them. But, Shibata himself already signed himself into the narrative (or at least that's what he think) because he just want hang out with people. In the end, only one guy in the group thinks that way. Kinda makes us think, what are we considered as 'friend'?

It's nice that Ryo still thought of Takumi as his friend even though the other knew he was bad-mouthing him but still defended him and it's sweet that he never held it against him and it's even cool that he told him that Yuka has feelings for him and I hope he brings those two together his Mom and Dad will definitely be happy to know that he has good friends and potentially a future girlfriend to bring home.🥰

A genuinly wholesome story. It's funny that it's almost sad that Ryo's been so alone his whole life to the point he's relegated himself as just a driver, and not worthy of being their friend. Im happy that things cleared up, and now they're genuinly friends, including Takumi. I loved Takumi's change of heart, that gift was a truly great scene. Going into this story I'd expected Ryo to be used by the popular kids, but Im happy things didn't turn out that way, and for the most part, they're all genuinly great people whom will most probably be friends for life. Even though friends might be enough for Ryo at the moment, I have hope that Yuka will get her chance. Truly great story, top fier favorite, definitely top 20

Shibata isn't alone in that kind of social anxiety. If anything, there are times where even young adults feel like there's a spotlight on them, and feel like everything they do is magnified by a thousand. However, he actually was able to break through (save for one) and actually make new friends.

Shibata seems to be satisfied with where he currently is, and it’s reasonable that he’s ok with just having some friends. Ouch at Yuka receiving a bit of an emotional gut punch at the end there. Now if she really does like Shibata, she can work on improving her friendship with him and become closer to him bit by bit

Yuka doesn't have to worry, college life hasn't ended and she continued to go on trips with Shibata and her friends after her rejection and since everyone including Kidori saw it, it's safe to say they ought to become wingmen for those two, besides, even if it was harsh, he's a guy with low self-steem who JUST RECENTLY got friends, I understand why he would rather appreaciate this for a bit longer before trying to get a girlfriend. Not gonna lie, her face at the end made me both laugh and pity her xD

Im a dude who owns a car and license, I don't need anyone to travel places with. If I were Shibata, he'd do those 2 day trips. Back in the day (I was in HS) I used to save a bit of my allowance and ue it for my jeepney fare to travel around the good spots in my island and have a one day trip, bringing me a small camping stuff and do snacks.
