People are forgetting that the main thing that made this game viral even before rhe release was the trailer that was clearly showcasing the visual aspects and the technological upgrade of these anime games. People are excited because from the trailer it looks hella good and as a genshin competitor it might even have a chance because the first trailers were miles better than genshin graphically speaking. Now that it's downgraded, it's just another genshin clone without major defining aspect

That's an absurdly dangerous assumption its litterally taking the worst and the less probable of possibilities and taking it as the most probable to happen. The most probable case is that the area we are seeing is just not an area were there are lots of enemies.

@@dga4839 It is the most probable case. The video acts as a promo, they're going to want to showcase some of the most average and some of the most impressive experiences possible in the game. If they've removed it from their promo piece, it's likely because currently it is non-functional.

If people are seeing the third trailer, they most likely saw the first and the second, reusing things that were there would be useless and redundant, not to mention that this is not even the same place, there is no part on this trailer we've seen before, it makes no sense to affirm that something was removed when you're in an Open-World game that has a huge map just because you didn't see it happen at a different place, Open-World games have different enemies distribution for each area.

Considering the cutscenes are showing a young Tristan and the story is called sds origins I have a feeling time travel is gonna be involved which will basically send Tristan/other heroes back in time/to a non descript time period which allows characters from all times come together. At least that’s my interpretation of what the cutscene is showing. This would also narratively justify putting new 4kota characters which takes place 16 years after sins (if this is actually time period of the origin of the sins it’s actually 30 years)

You said you are anime only, but if you completed the anime and watched the Movie that was released last year (The Seven Deadly Sins: Grudge of Edinburgh Part 1) you will already know who Tristan is and the way you didn't recognize that the blue creature the lady was riding is Hawks shows that you have not completed the anime. You should complete it if you haven't, so that you won't be missing such informations. You said you want to read the Manga, You should also read The Seven Deadly Sins: The Four Knights of Apocalypse. It is the sequel to the The Seven Deadly Sins and it is getting an anime this year. The language used in this gameplay video is Korea I am still hyped for the game by the way ✊

I dont see the downgrade to much, i think this one was just a gameplay trailer but not a real trailer like the other two. I think in the future we will see more of this type of trailer and my hope for the game is still high. Also in the description of the trailer its written that this gameplay is from an early development version, so its not from now

The "Downgrade" is just an impression, if you look at the previous trailer and look at the most recent one you'll notice one main thing, the contrast was higher on the previous, this gives the impression of more "realism" where there is none, it's almost a contrast filter, and now it was removed this gives the impression of a downgrade, but as you can observe when you look closely, it's not, you can be sure of it looking at Gilthunder's armor, that was so dark on the previous trailer it looked black, but now it's blue like it actually is on the show. Edit: I went back to the second trailer and even there the contrast changes sometimes, you see the same part with Tristan, Gowther and Gilthunder and the color drastically changes showing that like I said, it's no downgrade, just contrast.

I think the combat will be based around tagging to extend combos. I said this because when you tag a character in they use their ability and I also notice in the bottom right corner where you see the interchangeable characters I noticed that the special move icons were different in certain cuts, which led me to believe that the special moves will be Interchangeable.

It seems like also other characters have the capability of changing weapon, perhaps each character can use 2 or 3 weapons, because if you look at the bottom right in various parts of the trailer, you can see that Gilthunder changes ability icon, and on the icon its a bigger sword, so perhaps depending on what weapons the characters are familiar with in the series, youll get different movesets with that weapon type, gilthunder and Hauzer (hope i didnt ditch the name) both use long swords, and Big Rapiers, and it seems like gilthunder has changed his weapon from long sword to big rapier, and maybe hauzer can do the same

With the radio silence we've had for so long, I figured they were having some development issues, and the visual downgrade matches up with that assumption perfectly. That being said, the visuals still look good, and graphics aren't a huge deal for me specifically (and even within graphics, the animations of the characters are more important than fidelity, textures, etc). I'm much more interested in gameplay. Genshin is the bare minimum of combat depth that I will be ok with. If we have 2 combat skills and basic attacks, then I can work with that. If it's 1 combat skill and 1 movement skill, then I might not enjoy it. I played 7DS Grand Cross for a long long time and Netmarble gave me a lot of confidence in their ability to make quality games, so I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, but they have also given me a lot of confidence that they're going to monetize the crap out of this game and try very very hard to attract whales. All in all, this trailer didn't really give me any significant information, but it is nice to get something other than radio silence.

I don't think the "downgrade" was malicious, like you said, there just things graphically that devs find that they can't carry out through the whole game. For whatever reason. Graphically, the game looks fine, IMO. Now what WOULD be malicious, or at least, incompetent, is the game devs waiting less than a month before the original release date, stating and showing us that "there's going to be a 2 month delay and graphics downgrade". As some other devs have done. Gameplay-wise, I'm interested. Don't know what I expected, but this is fine. All in all, I'm a big 7DS fan and I look forward to the game.

That's not what they mean with "original story" in a videogame adaptation. The characters and their origins are the same that they are in the source material. Original story means that its a separate, made up "arc" or "saga", not part of the main story (manga), that happens during a specific point in time. Basically, its a filler arc in videogame form.

Recently the game "Limbus Company" dropped, and it's a game from the Project Moon universe (nothing in common with Type Moon), so I suggest to check it out if you're interested in interesting battle system, challenges, and good story. (The battle system is actually a faster variation of their previous LoR game.) Also it's a gacha with almost no gacha elements, beside cool skins and powers that you can do without. There's also Counter;Side which is pretty good if you're into Age of Wars but with Waifus and Husbandos. I'm doing this because I saw some people complaining about mobile games becoming stale, so I do want to push forward the most interesting cases to show how it's not all bad.

It might be that since this was video from the games version as played in GDC, there were mostly or only mobile devices present since Netmarble is a mobile game dev they might be much more focused on showing off what the game is on mobile platforms, which would be why the graphics settings are turned down, I mean the game looks like it is running at 30 fps, I really doubt it's not capable of 60 fps on a PC. The PC version might look much closer to what the original trailers showed, I don't know if this is the case, but I really hope that it is, we will find out once there's more footage of different versions of the game or when we get to play it ourselves.
